Best tour - Great tour wear walking shoes bring water it’s hot on the tour wear a hat and sunglasses bring money to purchase souvenirs and food if needed

Got your monies worth!!! - This tour was great! We visited several places and learned a lot about Cartegena. You definitely got your monies worth and a work out! lol! I would recommend this tour with this company to anyone.

The starting point in... - The starting point in Boca grande can be hard to find for tourists from Centro Histórico
Hotel pick up for Boca grande hotels only. Bring water! The jewelry store is last visit. I would leave before that.

Mostly self-guided tour with access and entrance to sites. - Most Spanish tour but my guide did his best to translate to English. This is a good tour if you just want to be driven and have access to the sites. Unfortunately the guide guydoes not come with you through the sites so you only get 30 minutes at the fort and no one is there to tell you any stories.

Wasted Day - I am sorry to report, this was the worse Viator excursion I have ever booked. Bus was over crowded, and mostly Spanish speaking. Although, I booked an English speaking tour. The guide spoke very little English and when he did, It was difficult to understand. We had to pay a taxi to take us to and from the tour, which was an additional $50 US. All in all, I would not recommend this tour or the guide.

Horrible tour - Not as advertised at all! Tour was promised in English and was not! Tour stated water would be provided and was not! Tour took us to a chocolate store and an emerald store for us to purchase items. Definitely NOT the best of Cartegena. Absolute worst part is being dropped in the middle of the city and told the tour was over when the page stated we would end at the same starting point. Worst Viator tour ever! Requested a refund and denied because Viator asks the tour company instead of listening to its customers! I will definitely rethink using Viator again when booking tours. Extremely disappointed when we heard Cartegena has so much to see!

We were so disappointed... - We were so disappointed in this excursion. We were given the address of the travel agency in Cartagena. Coming off the cruise ship, in the pouring rain, we had to walk several blocks to finally find a taxi. We arrived 45 minutes later. We entered the office. No greeting...or welcome, until I interrupted the boss from his laptop and conversation with another employee. He then flew into action saying our name. When we finally figured out what was Happening we were driving around the city, stopping at hotels picking up more passengers. We even picked up the guide at a stop. After this big delay...Only one other couple spoke English. Our first stop in Gethsemane, was so lame..the guide who spoke very little English, just had us get out and walk around and be back to him in 20 minutes. No explanation of anything.
Next, we stopped at the big shoes, for photos..but we were not given an explanation of WHAT we were doing. Unbelievable. Then we went to a coffee shop..another. 20 minutes..followed by a chocolate "museum". Entrance was allowed by.a purchase in the overpriced chocolate store. Ridiculous.
Next, we went to San Felipe Castle..this was the only good part of the tour. Our guide was very kind to a visually handicapped couple and tried to explain the castle to us. After this, we went back to the coffee shop. We were very afraid of being late to our cruise port and left, having to Again find ataxi. We barely made it back in time.
I do NOT recommend this excursion.
We still do understand why we couldn't be picked up.and returned as well. It cost us $40. US dollars Taxi fees and 45 minutes each way. Ridiculous
