Into the Heart of Puerto Rico: Caves and Mountains

The allure of Puerto Rico’s natural beauty is something that has always called to me, and this time, it was the promise of caves, mountains, and beaches that had me packing my bags. The Cave, Mountain, and Beach Tour promised an all-encompassing adventure, and I was eager to dive into the experience.

Our journey began with a visit to Cueva Del Indio, a prehistoric rock site near Arecibo. And of course, no visit to Ciales would be complete without sampling the world-famous Puerto Rican coffee. The rich aroma and bold taste were the perfect companions to the stunning views, and I found myself savoring each sip as I took in the beauty around me.

The mountains offered a different kind of adventure, one that was more about savoring the moment and less about the adrenaline rush. It was a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate the simple pleasures of life. As someone who thrives on the thrill of the ocean, this was a refreshing change of pace, and I relished every moment.

Sunset at Mar Chiquita

Our final destination was the breathtaking Mar Chiquita beach, a natural pool framed by rocky cliffs.
