• Tonto National Forest - Our private Road Easement in Tonto National Forest is connected to North Scottsdale/Carefree, Arizona. The trailhead is located 15 minutes northeast of our pickup location from the Sundial in Carefree.

Our Hard-Rock mine offers guests a safe opportunity to experience the meticulous methods used by Old-Timers to extract the elusive precious mineral that significantly shaped Arizona’s history.

On the way to the mine, explore the rugged landscape of the Upper Sonoran Desert with photo stops for flora and fauna, accompanied by educational narration about the archaeological Indian ruins in Rackensack Canyon.
