Great trip to Caral - Such a historical place and in such good companion. Our guide Johanna was really nice and friendly. She has demonstrated great knowledge and she strived to help us understand a little more about Peru's history and culture, especially about Caral.

Unmissable walk - We were a group of 7 tourists, a lot of very comfortable space in the vans, the guide Johanna very patient with all in English and Spanish, clarifying doubts of the Caral culture, she the driver and Caral staff very nice, friendly, the souvenirs are very economical and the pyramids incredible, we already have the eighth wonder of the world.

A Fascinating Journey to the Ancient City of Caral from Lima - Visiting the Caral archaeological site from Lima was a memorable experience. Caral is one of the oldest known civilizations in the Americas, offering a fascinating look into ancient urban planning, ceremonial structures, and early society. After exploring the site, we stopped for lunch in Barranca at Tota Restaurant, which was a nice break. On the way, we also visited a scenic viewpoint with a Jesus statue, adding a pleasant touch to the journey. Johanna, our tour guide, was very helpful and informative, the driver was calm and polite, and the car was comfortable, making the entire trip smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re interested in archaeological sites, and I would definitely consider Peruna Tour again when booking future trips.

Archeological Wonder and Peruvian Dining Delight - We took this trip the day after we landed in Lima with 4 hours of sleep under our belt the adventure began at 5:30 AM. We were conveniently picked up at our hotel. It was a 3 hour drive to Caral. Johanna provided us with a large bottle of water each and a light snack. About 90 minutes into our drive we stopped for coffee and a snack or light breakfast. FYI we did not have time to exchange money for Sols and we didn’t need to. We payed for breakfast and lunch with a credit card. Once we reached Caral, we had a personal guide for our group. Johanna translated for him. Both Johanna and the guide were knowledgeable and answered all questions. The site is well worth seeing and I would do it again. There still is so much to be discovered and figure out. Lunch was a true Peruvian dining delight at Tato. Be prepared with hat, sunglasses and sunscreen and the open spirit of the traveler. Well worth it!

Fantastic day out - We had a wonderful day. There were only three of us on the tour and we had a very comfortable vehicle with a skilled driver. Our guide Joanna was knowledgeable and considerate and went above and beyond even finding me the recipe for the best hot chocolate I've ever had. She was very helpful in finding the right food at lunch time following up re dietary requirements. Highly recommended. Thank you. Ray and Sarah Australia

The oldest city in the Americas, what a great tour - The tour is worth it for anyone interested in human history. Jose our guide was excellent. Knowledgeable, kind, and funny. It was a great time. Would recommend anyone visiting Lima. The site is an ongoing excavation, so they are discovering more things as we go. 'll definitely be back!! Tips: Bring cash for souvenirs, bring water, brim hat, sunscreen.

Worthwhile trip outside of Lima to this UNESCO gem - Convenient hotel pickup and once at the site had great commentary/insights provided by José . The journey on the mini bus was comfortable even travelling through the bumpy terrain and the scenery enroute was equally amazing. And other Archaeological sites were pointed en route and beyond Caral itself illustrating the scale of the second oldest civilisation in the world. Lunch stop by the sea was pleasant and tried the local taco tacu which was super tasty

Worth a visist - A friend of mine suggested the trip and I enjoyed it to the fullest. My guide was Johanna and she was very sweet and a great guide. It is not very popular yet but it's a really interesting archaeological site. Would have liked my tour a bit longer as the site is really big and just so much to learn. Can definitely recommend it.
