• Grotta dello Smeraldo (Emerald Grotto) - The Grotta dello Smeraldo (tickets included), also known as the “Emerald Cave,” is named for the distinctive green light inside. This effect is created by natural sunlight entering the cave through an underwater passage that connects the saltwater lake in the large chamber with the sea outside. The water filters the sunlight, allowing only green wavelengths to illuminate the cave.

Enter the cave through an artificial tunnel, where a jetty with numerous wooden boats awaits. The boat ride is the highlight of the tour, allowing you to enjoy the serene glide of the motorless boat.
