• Cape Town Central - The day begins with a pick-up from the designated point or your hotel in and around the City of Cape Town, at approximately 06:50 am.

Transportation will be provided in a sedan, SUV, or mini bus, depending on the group size.

• Hermanus - Upon arrival at Hermanus Harbour, guests will be required to sign a consent form and receive a safety briefing before embarking on a Whale Watching excursion. The trip will last approximately 2 to 3 hours.

During the excursion, a marine biologist will share detailed insights about the whales, including their reasons for visiting our shores during this season and their typical behaviors.

Our boat accommodates up to 80 people, but we limit it to 65 to enhance the experience. Southern right whales are inquisitive and often approach the boats, allowing guests to observe these magnificent creatures up close, some weighing as much as 50 tons, equivalent to 10 fully grown African elephants!

After the Whale Watching experience, we’ll proceed to Hermanus town center for shopping and lunch (at your own expense) before moving on to our next destination.

• Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate - Next, we will head towards Hermanus for a wine tasting at one of the estates in the Hemel-en-Aarde wine region. Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, one of the most southerly wine estates in Africa and closest to the sea, pioneered viticulture and winemaking in the stunning, cool, maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation, just behind the historic fishing village of Hermanus.
• Stony Point Penguin Colony - Our final stop will be Stony Point, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe African penguins up close. This site is home to one of the largest penguin colonies in Africa, offering a unique chance to see these captivating creatures in their natural environment. Stony Point Penguin Colony is renowned for being one of the largest and most successful breeding colonies of penguins on the continent.
• Cape Town Central - Upon returning to Cape Town, we will drop you off at your hotel, concluding our day tour.
