Fabulous - Cape Town's one of those places that's different every time you go, right? Had a great experience thanks to Jean, who showed us around and shared some real insight into the city's history. Table Mountain was the highlight, the queue's crazy in December, but totally worth it. We got lucky with the weather - they closed the top just after we got there. Was cool to see how much there is to do up there, had food and even caught a DJ. Jean sorted the tickets, so we skipped the hassle. After that, did a city tour and learned some interesting stuff about Cape Town's history and architecture.

Very Informative, A symbol of strength and hope - Jean-Marie was our tour guide. The tour was lead by a former political prisoner. Both gave a well organised tour. They covered important historical events of the Island. A must experience tour.

A shared moment of reflection. - review: My partner and I were humbled by the Robben Island visit. It sparked deep conversations about justice and resilience. Ending the day with a sunset at the Waterfront felt like a gentle ritual of hope.

Spectacular Gem - Cape Town came alive through this tour! From the panoramic heights of Table Mountain to the sobering legacy of Robben Island, every stop was rich with meaning. The city’s vibrant streets and stories were beautifully shared by our guide. Educational, emotional, and unforgettable.

Beyond Expectations!! - Robben Island was cancelled due to an event on the island. However our guide Jean, was very accommodating and provided additional activities in lieu of the Robben Island tour. He had a wealth of information and was incredibly knowledgeable about Africa's rich history. It was evident that he loves what he does, and we felt very fortunate to have been paired with him.

- My father and I had an unforgettable time. Jean Marie was a fantastic guide – perfectly organised, always on hand and flexible when needed. Highly recommended! We will come back and plan the Jean for other tours as well, as we realized how incredibly important it is to have an experienced guide, so you always feel safe!

Spectacular Experience - Jean was a spectacular guide, re-booking us efficiently when Robben Island tours had an unexpected same-day cancellation (rare occurrence). He even made efforts to coordinate alternate activities on the day of cancellation. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city during the drive, pointing out many notable buildings and areas. He was also a great at multi-tasking as both guide and photographer at the top of Table Mountain.

Astonishing experience! - This experience was my favourite so far! I love solo travelling a lot and my trip advisor Jean made it a lot better. It was so impressive to visit Cape Town’s historic landmarks and to get a view of the locals. Bo kaap colourful houses are exceptionally beautiful! The recyclable art gallery was my favourite spot to visit, it was incredibly displayed and showcased real talent. Table Mountain views are the best and incomparable. I will definitely visit again and will definitely book Golden Eagle!

Private Guide is NOT a Private Guide - The tour was booked with Viator and a private guide. The guide did NOT go on the Robben Island Tour and canceled the second half of the tour due to weather, out of their control. Viator refunded half of the cost of the private tour. They ghosted me after I requested a refund for the private guide portion of the tour, which the guide never event attended. I was happy to pay the for the tour, obviously, but not the for a private guide I never actually had.
