- Chapman’s Peak Drive - Drive along Chapman’s Peak Drive, if operational. Stop for a brief 10-minute photo opportunity at the viewpoint. Then, continue along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing through Camps Bay, Clifton, and Bantry Bay to the V&A Waterfront.
- Robben Island Museum - Note that your tour guide/driver will not accompany you on the boat or island, as a resident guide will provide a tour on the island.
Arrive at the boat departures terminal at 10:30 am. The ferry departs for Robben Island at 11:00 am. The tour lasts approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, including boat transfers. Upon arrival at the island, disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour and take a short walk to the bus for a guided tour by a former political prisoner. This includes a visit to Nelson Mandela’s cell and the opportunity to take the Long March to Freedom in his footsteps.
After the tour, return to the Clocktower Precinct at the V&A Waterfront around 14:30. Your tour guide/driver will be waiting to welcome you back and transfer you to your accommodation.

- In the event that Robben Island museum cancels the boat trip you will receive a refund for the boat trip entrance fees. Rescheduling of bookings can be done and would require 48 hours in advance - is subject to an administration fee. Rescheduling is also subject to availability.
