- Cape Town Central - Once picked up, you will be driven to Bo-Kaap, where the day tour begins with the first excursion. Bo-Kaap’s rich history spans over 360 years and is renowned for its vibrant rainbow-colored houses and cobblestone streets. This area is rich in cultural heritage, being the birthplace of Islam in the country and home to its mosques. From there, the tour will proceed along the N2.
- Bo-Kaap - Begin exploring the Cape Malay neighborhood, discussing the abolition of slavery in 1834, the Islamic religion, diversity, and the 1972 evictions.
- Khayelitsha - The tour will pass through the ghetto and township, one of the country’s poorest areas, along the N2. Many residents are domestic migrants, primarily from the Eastern Cape, the country’s poorest province.
- Vredenheim - At this wine farm, enjoy the first excursions, including wine tasting and a cellar tour. The farm offers opportunities to explore fauna, flora, and viticulture and is a popular venue for weddings and conferences. Viewing of big cats such as white and African lions, black and African leopards, Bengal and white tigers, and other antelopes is optional.
- Spier Wine Farm - Established in 1692, Spier offers a variety of quality wines and hosts open musical concerts during summer. It is a place for eagle encounters and walking trails through the forest.
- Observatory - A historical and heritage center, home to Groote Schuur Hospital, where the world’s first heart transplant was performed by Christian Barnard.
- The Stellenbosch Village Museum - Visit the village museum, which comprises four houses of historical interest and their gardens. Each of these beautiful homes represents a different period of Stellenbosch’s architectural development.
- Delaire Graff Estate - This wine estate is South Africa’s most desirable wine, hospitality, and art destination. A magnificent Cape Winelands property, visitors may discover their wine lounge, though walk-in chances are minimal. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the valley below and the best view of the Franschhoek Mountain, resembling an elephant, symbolizing the last elephant leaving Franschhoek after the French Huguenot refugees fled Europe due to religious persecution.
- Boschendal - One of the oldest wine farms in the country, first owned by Jean de Long, a Huguenot refugee who came to the Cape Dutch colony due to religious persecution in Europe. The farm was also the first to grant land to slaves for farming.
- Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve - Approaching Cape Town along the N1, view the AFRIKAANS TAAL monument on the right side of the road. This language museum highlights the language used by the oppressors during the Apartheid era and discusses the contrast in the language’s development and values.
- Glenelly - Enjoy a French-inspired cuisine lunch, wine tasting, and a glass collection and museum designed by the owner from France, Lady on the Rhino. Situated on the slopes of Simonsberg, it was reacquired by May de Lencquesaing, the Grand Dame of Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in Bordeaux.
- Woodstock - Woodstock was the first storage area in the country, where wood used for constructing most Cape buildings was stored. The Castle of Good Hope, the oldest building on land, is located here. It later became a major manufacturing and industrial hub, mainly for textile companies and maritime cargo companies, and for the repair and fabrication of wooden boats. Today, Woodstock has become an extension of town, with a new real estate market emerging.
- Cape Town Central - Finally, return to your hotel residence. The End.
- Century City - Also known as Canal Walk, Century City was founded in 1998, with construction starting then, and inaugurated in 2000 as the 21st century began. Visit the world’s greatest monument in bronze, honoring apartheid fighters and veterans representing black people.
- Franschhoek - Visit Franschhoek, the “French Corner,” explore art galleries, and enjoy wine tasting at La Grande Provence, along with a Franschhoek city tour.
- Groot Drakenstein Prison - Visit and possibly take a group picture at the statue of the “Father of the Nation” in front of the prison. See the picture section.
