Art, antiques, jewelry, and carved wood are traded in both old and new shops.

• Lanzerac Wine Estate - After a brief exploration of Stellenbosch, the next stop is Lanzerac Wine Estate. Situated on a 200-hectare farm, the estate features a wine cellar, spa, fine restaurant, farm shop, and a splendid hotel. Lanzerac was the first farm to bottle Pinotage, a unique South African wine, and continues to produce award-winning wines. Guests can enjoy tasting wines from the farm’s three different ranges.
• Delaire Graff Estate - The journey continues via the scenic Helshoogte Pass to the jewel of the winelands, Delaire Graff Wine Estate. Nestled on the eastern slopes of the Botmanskop Mountain, it faces the rugged Drakensberg Mountains. Unlike the historic Lanzerac Estate from the 1690s, Delaire Graff features modern architecture and stunning contemporary art. A jewelry shop complements the world-class Delaire Graff Restaurant and the Asian cuisine Indochine Restaurant.

• Delaire Graff Estate - Guests will have an hour to enjoy lunch at their own expense at the Indochine Restaurant before continuing the journey for another unique experience.
• Marianne Wine Estate - Next, visit Marianne Winery for a wine pairing of six wines with biltong, a dried meat similar to beef jerky. Marianne believes biltong enhances the wine’s flavors. Marianne’s Floreal wine was selected by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela’s 91st birthday.
• Fairview Wine and Cheese - Travel to Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate for a wine and cheese tasting. Guests can also purchase Fairview cheeses from the deli.
• Groot Drakenstein Prison - Drive past the prison that held Nelson Mandela, formerly known as Victor Verster. The guide will stop for photo opportunities at this historic site next to the Nelson Mandela monument.
