This area is renewed internationally for its spectacular natural scenery Craggy mountain peaks contrast with endless oceans visits and lush grey valleys. No matter where you travel in the Cape there are historical and modern sites on fabulous activities. On this tour we still tour includes Chapmans Peak (weather permitted) scenic route, Cape of Goodhope & Cape Point and Boulders beach the home of the penguin colony.
We will have a leisurely lunch in the Historical town of Simon’s Town before departing back to Cape Town.
This tour is a private tour and is very flexible and can be customized on the day and even during the day. Your guide will make sure that you see the most and make the most of your day out.

A Must-Do in Cape Town - Colin is such a gem. He is so smart and knowledgeable and honestly just FUN! This tour was exactly what I wanted. We got to see so many sites and make the most out of our limited time in Cape Town. A must-do if you want to see a lot of the area in a short amount of time and actually have a great guide lead you along the way.

Amazing honeymoon experience! - WOW what an amazing experience! My husband and I wanted to book a private tour since we were visiting South Africa for our honeymoon and did not want to join a tour with 15+ people (which many peninsula tours host larger groups). Colin was so knowledgeable and made our trip such a memorable experience! I really loved the balance Colin provided between time spent with him and the time he gave us to explore the areas on our own. It was the perfect mix of having some guidance provided by a local and getting to explore on our own. I would HIGHLY recommend any of Colin's tours as he provides the best service!!! We will 100% be booking an E-Bike wine tour with him next time we're in South Africa!

Mountains, sea and wine with Colin De Wet in beautiful Cape Town - My husband and I hired Colin to take us on a private tour of the cape peninsula one day and a winelands tour another day. Colin is personable and knowlegeable. The first day he drove us up the coast to the Cape of Good Hope stopping several places along the way for pictures and to see a quaint farm village. He gave us a history lesson along the route, some I remembered and lots I did not. On the way back we stopped to see the penguins and then to have a lovely lunch on the water.
After finding out what our interests were, he planned a wonderful trip to 4 different vinyards (one was for lunch), a garden and the charming town of Stellenbosch. He knows the area well having lived there most of his life and working at several winieries. Such a beautiful place to visit and not to be missed when you are in Cape Town.
Colin is a safe driver and an exceptional guide. I highly recommend him. He will personalize the tour just for you.

The best tour! - We had the best day traveling around Cape Town with Colin! It is the perfect way to see a wide range of sites in a personalized private setting. It is so much better than doing a group tour, we really got to know Colin, our guide, and learn about the Cape Town regions and history. We loved every minute and would highly recommend!

The Best Tour Guide in SA! - My husband and I spent 3 days with Collin from Winelands Guide in South Africa on our honeymoon and had a truly unforgettable experience!! We hired Collin for both the Private Cape Peninsula Tour and the Full Day Winelands Tour and he was an exceptional tour guide! Winelands Guide also provided our transportation to and from the airport and throughout the country. They were extremely flexible and reliable. Collin is incredible knowledgeable on the history of South Africa taking us along the Peninsula and showing us all of the beautiful landmarks. The day in the Winelands was wonderful thanks to Collin’s expertise of the area! He took us to a variety of different vineyards each with unique and delicious wines. We cannot recommend Winelands Guide and Collin enough - he made our trip to South Africa one that we will never forget! We highly recommend booking with Winelands Guide for all of your South Africa tours and travel!

Amazing day on the Cape - Wow, what an amazing day we had! Colin is fantastic! I am always hesitant to do a private tour because that’s a lot of 1:1 with a stranger but I couldn’t be happier we did. Colin was friendly, funny, down to earth and I felt like we were best friends from the moment we started the tour. He was super knowledgeable and catered the tour to our liking. He brought us to all the spots and gave us great history on them (my husband loves the history). We enjoyed a nice lunch at a local spot, I would highly recommend stopping in Simons town before the penguins.
We drove around and really felt like we saw the whole cape area. It was a great day mixed with driving, exploring on our own, and getting to soak in all of Colin’s knowledge. We loved this tour so much that we signed up for another tour with winelandsguide while on our trip. We had a chance to meet some of the other guises and everyone is just as fantastic!

Highly recommend - We did the full day private Cape Peninsula Tour. Our guide for the day was Reggie and Colin organised our tour. We had an absolutely fantastic day. Reggie was incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and tailored our day to fit in with what we really wanted to see. We were mind blown by the Cape of Good Hope and the drive there. We had lunch in Simon’s Town and then went to visit the penguins in Boulder’s Bay. Had the best day and learnt so much about the history, nature and landmarks of South Africa. Highly recommend this tour. The booking process was easy and smooth, had the chance to discuss personal preferences and requests with Colin.

Amazing day touring the Cape Peninsula - We LOVED our cape peninsula tour with Colin while on our honeymoon! He picked us up from our hotel and we spent the day seeing all of the best along the cape peninsula. We got to see so much, learned a lot, took great photos, and had fun along the way. Highly recommend !!
