• Lion’s Head Hike Parking - Experience the most iconic view of Cape Town from the summit of Lion’s Head, offering breathtaking 360-degree panoramas.
  The trail ascending Lion’s Head is a spiral, allowing hikers to circle the mountain and enjoy views from every angle. At a certain point, the path becomes rugged, requiring hikers to use their hands to scramble over rocks. The trail then steepens towards the first ladder, leading to a traverse along a ledge with a chain handrail. Continuing on, hikers will reach a fork, where they should turn right to ascend two rock pitches via two ladders, following the path to the crest of the southeast ridge. Near the summit, the hike becomes a brief scramble, culminating with the final ladder to the 669-meter peak. From the top, enjoy a 360-degree view of Cape Town, one of the three iconic peaks framing the city, with Table Mountain as a backdrop. As the city lights gradually turn on or off, a new view emerges for the descent, where hikers will be provided with a headlamp.
