Individual hike with sunset! Safe and entertaining :-) - We met Abie and Bike and Hike on a guided bike tour in Stellenbosch and booked this tour straight away. Pick-up at the hotel, small group (4 people + guide), very well-maintained VW van. Supply of snacks and water and a very professional tour to Lions Head for sunset. Abie knows the area and knows the best spots for sunset. Safe and relaxed, fun and individual hike! We can only recommend it! Many thanks to the team for the uncomplicated handling and the great tour!

Lion Head Sunset Hike - Our second hike with Matt and his team. Can not rate them highly enough. Abi was our guide and he ensured we had an amazing experience. Reaching the top for the sunset and ensured we all returned safely. He was very friendly, good fun and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recomnend Matt and his team.

Best hike ever - Such a great hike to do with a knowledgeable guide! He made sure we could take the more difficult path but do it safely even though we weren’t avid hikers. It was so worth it!

Lions head hike at a glance - Good guide. Fun to talk to. Easy going and considerate about speed going up and down. Especially recommended if you have not done a hike before. Views all the way up there are spectacular.

Amazing experience! - Wow! We had such an amazing hike up Lion’s Head mountain! Matt was our guide & picked us up at our hotel & had drinks & snacks for us. He even had trekking poles (but we did not need them). There are a couple of tricky areas but nothing terrible. It’s definitely a doable hike if you are fit or semi fit. Matt guided us to the summit & the views were simply beautiful! Worth the hike for sure! He took wonderful photos for us too! We cannot recommend booking this hike with Matt if you visit Cape Town!

Taming the Lion (Lion's Head Hike) - Extremely happy I booked Matt for this hike. Extremely professional service from pick-up to drop off. I had thought about just doing the hike by myself, but glad I didn't. As not only did Matt provide some information on the mountain and Cape Town in general, but he also was very helpful in navigating some of the more tricky parts of Lion's Head. An absolute must book in my opinion.

Taming the Lion (Lion's Head Hike - Private Tour) - Cannot thank Matt enough for an awesome hike. The service started way before the hike with a prompt pick up from my Lodge, to information about the hile itself and Cape Town in general, the hike itself, and a drop-off back at the Lodge. I am glad I did not decide to do the hike by myself as there were some tricky parts to navigate, for which Matt knew like the back of his hand. He also knew the good stops to grab some water and a snack (which he had some to provide), and also the good spots for pictures. All in all it was A1 service from beginning to end, and highly recommend it.
