Fairview Wine and Cheese - Welcome, dear visitors, to a full-day winelands adventure where we select locations offering the finest setups and experiences. The winelands are expansive, with each winery providing unique experiences. While customized itineraries are available, we also recommend our own route, which we believe you will thoroughly enjoy by the end of the tour.
We will travel for fifty minutes from central Cape Town to the Fairview wine and cheese estate. Here, we will sample eight (8) wines paired with cheese.
Our professional wine sommelier will engage us for about two hours, providing excellent education on the soil, grape, wine production, and wine and cheese pairing. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Additionally, you will have the chance to purchase wines, cheese, or other souvenirs displayed around. The Charles Back family has owned the Fairview estate for three generations, and they know exactly what customers desire. After Fairview, we will proceed to Franschhoek for our MCC experience. - Haute Cabriere - Following our visit to Fairview wine estate, the tour will continue to the charming town of Franschhoek. The guide will stop at Victor Verster Prison (where Nelson Mandela walked out after his release). Afterward, the guide will proceed to Haute Cabriere wine estate. Visitors at Haute Cabriere are initially impressed by its location and extensive terrace, offering breathtaking views of the Franschhoek valley. Haute Cabriere is deeply rooted in tradition. Following French convention, the still wine is named after the farm, Haute Cabriere, and the méthode classique range is named, like all French champagnes, after the original owner, the French Huguenot Pierre Jourdan, who was granted the land in 1694. Haute Cabriere became the first winery in South Africa to specialize in Méthode Classique produced exclusively from two noble cultivars of the Champagne region of France - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. We selected this winery for the view and to allow visitors to taste the MCC (Méthode Cap Classique/Champagne).

Delaire Graff Estate - Known as the Jewel of the winelands, Delaire Graff estate is indeed a place everyone wants to visit during a wine tour. The owner and chairman of Graff Diamonds International, Mr. Laurence Graff, acquired the land in 2003 and vowed to transform it into South Africa’s most desirable art, hospitality, and wine destination. He embarked on an ambitious six-year development program. The results were extremely impressive: two outstanding restaurants, a state-of-the-art winery, exclusive lodges, a destination spa, and a luxury boutique.
Visitors are also rewarded with beautiful gardens, spectacular views, and a fabulous display of contemporary art. Delaire Graff Estate’s location on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte mountain pass is noted for its high-altitude vineyards. The Delaire Graff Botmaskop Bordeaux blend, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, and Laurence Graff Reserve are all 5-star recipients in the Platter Guide.
Dear visitors, this place is a must-visit when around Stellenbosch.
