- Bo-Kaap - Our first stop is Bo-Kaap, formerly known as the Cape Malay Quarter. Here, visitors can capture memorable photos with the vibrant houses as a backdrop. The tour guide will provide insights into these historic homes and the heritage of the local residents, many of whom have roots in Indonesia and Malaysia. Bo-Kaap is famous for its colorful houses, cobblestone streets, and rich cultural heritage. It is the birthplace of Cape Malay cuisine and home to mosques and historic cemeteries. The houses feature Cape Dutch and Georgian architecture, with families residing here for generations.
- Table Mountain Aerial Cableway - Table Mountain is a unique symbol of the peninsula, standing 1,067 meters above sea level. The excursion includes a cable car ride designed to rotate 360 degrees, offering a full panorama. This is the most spectacular way to ascend Cape Town’s famous flat-topped peak and explore. Visitors can enjoy a self-service restaurant, Table Mountain Café, offering a variety of food, drinks, snacks, desserts, and wines. Table Mountain provides unparalleled 360-degree views of Cape Town and is flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head. The mountain is home to over 1,460 species of fynbos and animals such as the caracal, mongoose, and dassie, and has been a protected area for over 100 years. The quickest way to the top is via the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, but there are also adventurous hiking trails leading to the summit. Please note, this tour is exclusive, and you will need to pay your own entry fee of R 420 per adult.
- Groot Constantia - Known as one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa, Groot Constantia offers a tour through the old Manor House Museum, followed by the Cellar Wine Tour and Wine Tasting. Enjoy a taste of their internationally acclaimed wines or sample the Grand Constance Dessert wine before indulging in a delicious meal at Simon’s Restaurant, a heritage building named in memory of the second governor of the Cape Colony, Simon van der Stel, and founder of the wine estate.
- Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden - Situated on the slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch is recognized as one of the finest botanical gardens in the world. The 528-hectare estate contains over 9,000 species of plants from southern Africa. Kirstenbosch also features a 130-meter-long centenary tree canopy walkway, affectionately known as the Boomslang, winding through the towering treetops of the gardens. It is a place to breathe and explore the Cape Floral, the smallest yet richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms. Discover the 528 hectares of about 9,000 species of Cape Fynbos, where 6,200 of these can be found nowhere else in the world. The garden is also part of the Seven Wonders of the World. This is where the tour concludes before returning to the hotel, capturing some sunset moments. Note that the entry fee is exclusive, and you will need to pay R 220 per person.
