- Camps Bay Beach - After being picked up from the hotel, the tour takes a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The route passes through Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, and Hout Bay. A stop at Maiden’s Cove offers a photo opportunity with stunning views of the Twelve Apostles as a backdrop. This cove is one of the best spots in Cape Town for panoramic photos of the ocean, Camps Bay Beach, and views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the beautiful suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay. This is often referred to as the Kodak moment.
- World of Birds - Home to over 3,000 birds, the World of Birds is the largest bird park in Africa and one of the few of its kind globally. Set in a tropical garden in the Hout Bay Valley, the aviaries span 4 hectares, framed by Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, Constantiaberg, Chapman’s Peak, and Little Lion’s Head. A paradise for nature lovers and photographers, the World of Birds is a must-visit attraction in Cape Town. (OPTIONAL)
- Chapman’s Peak Drive - Departing from Camps Bay, the tour continues along Chapman’s Peak, stopping at the viewpoint for breathtaking photos. It’s no surprise that Chapman’s Peak is considered one of the most scenic routes in the world.
- Cape of Good Hope - The tour concludes at the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Lighthouse. Here, visitors can explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama Crosses, marking the arrival of the first Europeans in Cape Town around 1487 & 1495. For those interested in hiking, please consult the guide. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a jersey or jacket, and a hat are recommended.
- Old Cape Point Lighthouse - From the Cape of Good Hope, there is an option to either hike to Cape Point or take the Funicular. Lunch can be enjoyed at the Two Oceans restaurant for a sit-down meal or at the informal eatery for takeout. Visitors will explore the most south-western point of Africa, known as Cape Point, where the cold Benguela current from the Atlantic Ocean meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean. The lighthouse and surrounding areas will be explored.
- Simon’s Town - The next stop is Simon’s Town, home to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. The guide will lead visitors to the viewing point to see some of the 2,500 breeding pairs of African Penguins up close. It’s possible to encounter these charming creatures on the boardwalk. The African craft market offers beautiful handcrafted African art.
Lunch will be in Simon’s Town, with the driver suggesting a restaurant.
- Muizenberg - Known for its famous colorful beach houses, Muizenberg is surrounded by mountains. Visitors can enjoy the sea breeze and take photos before heading back to Cape Town for the final stop at Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden.
- Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden - Located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch is internationally recognized as one of the world’s seven most magnificent botanical gardens. The 528-hectare estate includes a cultivated garden and a nature reserve. The garden showcases collections of southern African plants, including many rare and endangered species. Visitor facilities include restaurants, a nursery, a gift shop, a bookshop, and a permanent Zimbabwean stone sculpture exhibition.
