A few stand-outs: • Flexible routing – Skipped the fogged-in funicular at Cape Point and spent the sunshine window at the Cape of Good Hope (great call). • Local gems – Lunch at Hout Bay’s Fish on the Rocks was exactly the fish-and-chips fix I’d been craving, plus a wander through the adjacent harbour market. • Photo help & history – He doubled as photographer and storyteller, making sure I left with both great shots and new insight. • Going the extra mile – Dropped me at Canal Walk mall to dodge the afternoon downpour and—even better—connected me with Monique, the fixer who later saved my shark-and-whale plans.
