Wonderful Wizard of Oz - This place showed us the evolving story of how L Frank Baum's vision came to life. We really enjoyed ourselves with all the interactive exhibits.

Hidden Gem - If you like the Wizard of Oz at all, this museum is worth the stop. Reasonably priced and run by a family, it has a great collection! Several copies of original editions of the Wizard of Oz books, ornaments, puppets, figurines, if it was made it the image of someone in Oz, it's probably here. There is also an interactive display featuring both the Wizard of Oz and Van Gogh paintings. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

Museum of Memories - Brought back many memories of enjoying this story in all its renditions. I especially enjoyed the short films of the making of the 1939 film.

A wonderful trip to Oz! - If you are a Wizard of Oz fan, this museum is a must visit. There is SO MUCH memorabilia spanning from when the books were originally written (they even have first editions of the full series!) all the way to present day. There’s is an audio tour that will give you a ton of background information as well. The immersive experience as well which was fantastic. A word of warning though, if you or a member of your group have issues with motion sickness the immersive experience may not be for you, however that only a portion of the museum.

Good Memorabilia, Questionable Immersive Experience - An impressive collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia, both movie and book and everything else under the sun. We found some new favorite characters, like the Patchwork Girl, the Saw Horse, and the Giant Horse of Oz. The immersive experience was somewhat bizarre. There was one scene where the lion is being pulled by mice, and in that scene the lion appears on the floor as well as two walls at the same time, which was strange. At one point they showed images taken by the James Webb space telescope, which were pretty, but only tangentially connected to Oz. The overall animations did not look very high quality. Additionally, there were AI generated images on some of the items in the gift shop, which was somewhat off putting. There was also a “children’s room” which was a dark closet with a video and a few toys. I would recommend this museum for the memorabilia, but not great for kids unless they like Oz and looking at items behind glass.
