Put your worries aside - go! - Performance tours was a blast! Kurt took us white water rafting on a full day trip. Rapids levels 1, 2, and 3. This was our first white water rafting experience - as a nervous mother of 2 boys 10 & 13 (not helicopter nervous, but wear your helmet and stay out of the street nervous) Kurt was calm and funny and always let us know what was up ahead. Guide for 25+ years in CO, he even did guided tours in an off season in Patagonia. Choose local! And ask to meet sweet sweet Mabel(dog). The lunch was also fantastic and fresh. Was a great time - looking forward to going again in a few years when the boys get older to try out rougher rapids. Our utmost thanks Kurt for putting up with us!

Great times - We had Chef/Driver/Guide/Historian Ian. It was a blast of an adventure. Ian was fun, positive, knowledgeable, and super helpful with getting us through the day. Great experience!

Catching waves - Great experience with great guides. Lunch that was provided for our full day trip was more than enough. Going through the gorge had amazing views and awesome rapids.

10/10 would recommend - This was hands down the highlight of our vacation! James is an incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional guide. I can't recommend this enough as either a day trip with the family, or part of a longer stay. :)

We love Performance Tours! - Performance Tours is absolutely the way to go! We had the best full day rafting experience through the Gorge with Brice. Paddling class IIIs half the day and then the thrilling class IVs in the afternoon. The lunch spread on the river between sessions (hand curated by Road Runner) was also quite delightful! Our safety kayaker, Josh, was also awesome. This entire team takes care of their rafters and Brice was the perfect combination for an authentic experience- safe, fun, knowledgeable, and encouraging to everyone to be one with the river. We will be back next year!

Performance Tours is the best! - We had the best time with Brice as our guide! The full day Gorge experience was amazing, from the first half of the day with class IIIs, an impressive lunch spread from Road Runner, and then of course the class IVs in the afternoon— all incredible! Josh, our safety kayaker, also added to the wonderful experience. We highly recommend Performance Tours- they’re the perfect combination of safety, fun, knowledge, and being one with the river!

Great rafting experience with our older kids - We are 100% happy that we booked with this company! We’re a family with older children mostly 21+ and one 16yr old and we did a full day. Our guide took us on a great route at a good pace. We passed several other companies that seemed to be doing more slow floating. Our guide Brice stopped and let us jump off a cliff also. The lunch was an impressive spread. Last time we rafted in Buena Vista, the lunch was disappointing to say the least and they ran out of food. We had more than enough to feed everyone. We had two people fall overboard and Brice quickly got us back on the raft safely with no injuries. Very thankful for him. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and pointed out a lot of cool stuff. They provided wetsuits and splash jackets and booties and all the safety gear. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

A MUST DO adventure! - A must on the TO DO List. We had 7 of us and so we took two rafts. One raft guide was Brice, and our adult kids absolutely loved him! We had James and we thought he was amazing as well. Both were super informative about the area and tons of fun. The full day rafting was amazing. We were never bored, not one bit. Lunch was fresh and fantastic. If you have the time, totally go with the full day trip - you will definitely not be disappointed!

Top Shelf Experience!!! - My family and I went on a full day rafting trip through Bighorn Sheep Canyon with Performance Tours in Canon City. It was absolutely amazing. The water was at mid level and there were plenty of class II and class III rapids to enjoy. The guides, James and Bryce, are top shelf. They were both very professional, respectful, and more than happy to accommodate our needs. These guys knew there stuff too. We took our small children, ages 8 and 11, and we were concerned that they wouldn't do well but the guides quickly won them over and made them feel at ease. They had the time of their lives and they are already planning our next trip. If you want a top shelf trip at an affordable price, these are they guys that you want. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

The Best Experience - Performance Tours is the only way to go. True professionals and a great time. We are "experienced" rafters, rafting different rivers in different states our travels take us. Peformance Tours outshines other rafting experiences we have had. We took the full day Big Horn Sheep and Royal Gorge Trip. It trip was more personalized with a small crew and a van to move people and boats- not school buses full of people. The lunch provided was a great FRESH spread with lots of options, not a brown sack lunch tossed at you. ( The fresh cut veggies cut by our rafting guide was a nice touch). The crew were all exceptional, focused on safety and ensuring a positive pleasant experience. It was a fabulous day on the Arkansas River- Thank you Peformance Tours.
