This adventure is perfect for families, beginners, or seasoned rafters, offering spectacular scenery and plenty of excitement. Enjoy the top 10 miles of whitewater in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, ideal for groups or individuals eager to try whitewater rafting in Colorado, whether it’s their first or tenth time. Expect amazing views and an adventurous journey lasting 2 to 3 hours on the water. This is the only trip available from either of our locations.
- Recommended dress code is no cotton. Anything synthetic such as swimwear, workout gear, and sandals/sneakers with a heel. No flip flops for crocks!

Vacation to remember. - I had a great time on the river today. All I can describe the days events is that IT WAS AWESOME. I never did anything like this before so was not sure what to expect, but our guide Emma was the best. Words can not describe how knowledgeable and enthusiastic she was and how encouraging she was to her "crew" with different skill sets. I highly recommend her and the outfit she works with. I would definitely do this again.

Fantastic experience! - We had a fantastic afternoon with Arkansas River Tours. Our guide, E Man, was a great character and so knowledgeable. He taught us how to paddle and our young teenage son felt very safe. His highlight was jumping off a rock into the river! We all had a chance to swim which was an added bonus. The tour left promptly and we were way ahead of the other tour operators on the river. The only tiny negative feedback was the cost of the photos which was high - at around $20 we would have bought one but we felt $35 was too expensive.
All in all, it was a brilliant day and we would only ever use Arkansas River Tours for future trips. Thanks!

Best rafting experience - I had no idea what to expect and had no expectations of what the experience would be. Keane was our guide, and it was absolutely an amazing experience. Keane was super friendly and knowledgable without being over the top. Keane really made our day. Also a huge shout out to out to Gino, our driver, super friendly as well. Thanks team.

My family and I had a... - My family and I had a great time rafting with Arkansas River Tours. Austin was our guide and he was great. He kept us safe and made sure we had a fun time on the river. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to go rafting!

Great trip for beginners - We booked the Clear Creek trip out of Dumont. Megan, our guide, was outstanding, and our "small boat" excursion was a blast.

We had so much fun!... - We had so much fun! Initially I wasn’t sure how tough the rafting would be, but our group had 5 people of all ages and it was just fine / it was family friendly. Our 13 & 16 year old had a blast.

Paddling on Labor Day! - Excellent booking with Gabby for a trip for two on Labor Day . Check-in was easy, staff are friendly and enthusiastic) on the last day of the season. Megan was a terrific guide. The scenery was gorgeous, the instruction and paddling were fun. A few keeper photos were available at the end of the trip. We’ll be back next time we paddle the Arkansas River.

10/10 for Whitewater Rafting!! Best part of our trip!! - We did the 1/2 day Big Horn Sheep with Kyle as our guide and it was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend this company for whitewater rafting. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgeable and the gear is nice. We had a wide range of ages, 9-72, and it was by far everyone's favorite experience. Thank you ART and Kyle for a great trip!

Great rafting times!! - Spent 5 days in Canon City and did rafting with ART 3 of those days! Our final day was Big Horn with Emma and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend ART for any of their rafting adventures and recommend you take the time to do multiple excursions as each part of the river has a unique personality and scenery! We even saw some big horns!! Thanks Emma for a great ride!
