8:30 AM: The group will stop to check in at Ma Phuc Pass.
9:00 AM: Visit Phuc Sen forging village, known for its traditional knife-making.
10:30 AM: Proceed to Truc Lam Pagoda to enjoy a panoramic view of Ban Gioc Waterfall from above.
11:00 AM: Arrive at Ban Gioc Waterfall - Take a boat ride on the river for a closer view of the waterfall.

4:30 PM: Check in to watch the sunset at Angel Eye Mountain and visit the stunning Nặm Trá waterfall.
5:30 PM: Return to Cao Bang city.

Angel Eye Mountain (Núi Mắt Thần) is located in Quoc Toan Commune, Tra Linh District, within the 36 Thang Hen Lakes area, a notable destination in Cao Bang Geopark. This mountain is a breathtaking natural attraction known for its unique geological features, also referred to as “Thung Mountain” due to its circular hole at the top resembling an “eye” with a diameter of over 50 meters. It is popular among tourists for its scenic hiking trails. Visitors can also explore the surrounding forests, caves, and rivers, and engage in outdoor activities like rock climbing, camping, and bird-watching.

So many great options, perfectly organized - Our group of five was truly amazed by the wide range of services available - from motorcycle rentals and cars with drivers to cafés, budget rooms, luxury motels, and even camping tours. There were so many choices that it was honestly hard to decide. Thankfully, Missly helped us plan and organize everything, making it all easy and stress-free. Friendly Guides, Cozy Stay—1000/10 Experience! - First of all, the staff and rooms at Cao Bang Eco House were amazing! I’d rank it as my top accommodation during my entire stay in Vietnam. We booked a day tour with Cao Bang Eco Travels, and our guides (who quickly became friends), Hoang and Tho, were absolutely exceptional and accommodating. They made us feel safe throughout the trip and shared so much useful information at every stop. We even got to hang out and chat like old friends. I would definitely recommend their services—1000/10!

A cozy evening to remember - I spent the evening by the fire, chatting with new friends from all over the world, listening to their stories, enjoying the music, and sipping a hot cup of coffee. It was such a warm, peaceful night. I slept incredibly well and woke up feeling refreshed and full of energy. A big thank you to Eco Homestay for such a wonderful experience!

A hidden gem thanks to great local advice - At first, we didn’t include Lenin Creek in our itinerary because we thought it was just a historical site and wouldn’t be that interesting. Luckily, thanks to your advice, we decided to visit - and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
I truly believe everyone should ask the staff for recommendations when they come here. They are incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and always happy to help. The welcome is warm and genuine. In the evening, they light a fireplace where you can sip coffee, chat, and even make new friends. Most of the guests were foreigners from all over the world, which made the experience even more meaningful and enriching for me.

A warm, memorable trip - The staff were incredibly friendly and full of energy. Everyone was young, warm, and made me feel right at home. A surprisingly great place to rent a car - I didn’t expect to find such a solid rental service here, but the selection really impressed me — all the cars were new and well maintained, with enough variety to try different options before deciding. If you’re comfortable driving a manual and confident on the road, the Honda XR is a fantastic choice. It handles mountain routes beautifully and makes challenging roads genuinely enjoyable.

Comfort food that totally won me over - Chicken pho, rice rolls, congee, spring rolls — even the salad — everything tasted great, especially on a cold day. It was the kind of meal that just makes you feel warm and happy. Honestly, when I go back to Korea, I’ll definitely be hunting for a good Vietnamese restaurant because I'm completely hooked now.
