Wonderful tour of Istanbul with an experienced guide! - This 4 hour tour of Istanbul is a must! Especially if you're short on time and want to skip the line and see the city with an experienced guide. Kubra has so much knowledge about the city and it's rich history. She is interesting and takes a lot of time and care with the group. All 3 sights were amazing and I would highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Istanbul. Thank you Kubra for a great tour1

Great crossing and a beautiful island. Parking keep Suquet Forville. - Ferry crossing is fine, just as it should be. Yesterday 16-08 we found out that the parking lot that is really next to the harbor and meeting place to pick up your tickets is currently not accessible due to renovations... If you go this way by car. Suquet Forville car park. Nice big neat parking. Very easy to drive to and leave again to the highway. Walking distance (max 10 min) from the port / starting point pond. Saves you searching, take advantage of it!

Not What I Thought it Would Be - Not what I expected or hoped for. I went to the Fort where dozens of school kids were having a great time playing games, blasting music. There appeared to be classes for kids in some of the buildings. The little museum was good but not free: €6.50. The paths were not clearly marked. I ended up having a long walk through the woods (not a bad thing necessarily) but not finding my way to places I would have liked to have seen. The vendors had a €10 minimum for card use. You might want to bring cash. The ferry ride to the island was pleasant. The return to Cannes had 50 young adults with luggage board first so it was not easy to find a seat. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I’d advise against this.
