Whales and dolphins in the wood - Amazing experience. The landscape , the animals and the team . Vitor and Sergio were 5 stars to provide us with an unforgettable tour. Not only the sympathy but all the knowledge that was being passed on to us . To praise also that the group was all made up of foreigners and we are two were the only Portuguese and Vitor took care to go asking us if we had understood and give the information also in Portuguese. Great experiences to truly appreciate the marine life of the island. - Great experiences. I highly recommend it. Great team, speaks French, Portuguese, and English. The marine biologist provides us with the necessary information to have a great time. We were able to observe sperm whales, dolphins, and a whale.

Amazing time at sea - From the shuttle bus pick up to the drop off I cannot fault this experience. From start to finish it was a joy, João ( really sorry if that’s wrong) was so enthusiastic it was infectious.

One of a kind experience - Amazing trip, I fully recommend it to everyone. We went two times, because the first time the animals didn't want to be seen. We received a voucher to come and try for the second time for free, and we decided to give it another try. Both the trips were amazing, the ocean was different both times, and the tour guides were great. It's truly insipiring to see people care so much about their job and be passionate about the wild life, ready to answer any questions. We saw many pilot whales in the scond trip, and the feeling of seeing them in the wild is extraordinary. Adding the sight of the island, and the great way our tourguide and the pilot organised it, this is a must have when in Maderia!

The best experience. - The entire experience was great. From being helped onto the boat by a guide, to all the knowledge provided about the whales and dolphins in the area. Me, my partner and our son (11 months) were escorted onto the boat first in order to get the most appropriate seat, given life jackets and explained the safety advice. Watching the whales and dolphins in their natural habitat was amazing. They were very close by and had a great view of them! All proceeds go towards the reservation of the animals and they actively track each pod that comes in and out of the area. Fantastic knowledge and an overall amazing experience. Would highly recommend!

You don't get what you expect! - Unfortunately, we expected something different, as we have already done whale watching tours in different countries and they were incredibly gentle experiences! Unfortunately, this tour was rather unprofessional. We are aware that you have no guarantee of sightings of many animals, because you are in the great outdoors and not in a zoo. But we were already skeptical about the duration of 2 hours, because we knew it differently, for example, from the Azores. There it was almost 3 hours and you had to be on site at least 15 minutes earlier for the briefing. Unfortunately it is not like this and so a large part of the 2 hours is already lost, as all people have to be briefed, equipped with rain jackets and distributed among the different boats! Our tour was supposed to take place from 9.30-11.30 but we really started at just before 10am. After a short drive we had also seen the first dolphins, which was quite nice! But it was already foreseeable that we will not really see other spots and instead, we were informed at just before 11 o'clock that we will make our way back but will still sail along the coast, which was not to mock more animals, but to present the guests with a 30 minute full throttle boat trip where we did a few circles and that to music by Celine Dion and the soundtrack of Curse of the Caribbean! Sorry, but if I book a nature experience, then I expect that too and not a party boat trip. I would rather have spent more time with the animals than the boat trip along the coast, which is useless for us! If I feel like a speedboat ride with loud music, I book it that way. With a net time of max. 1 hour, how should guests get to see many animals if it is not possible to drive to several spots to pursue the real purpose of the tour due to the poor time management! The only positive, were the nice staff but the rest was nothing! Experience 2 stars Staff 4
