Excellent Tour - This was a very nice trip. The guide was very knowledgeable and really kept the bus trip interesting. The bus was very comfortable. The highlight was certainly the cenote. We were the only ones there, so there was plenty of room to swim around and enjoy the cool water. The lunch was fine, and the time spent at both Tulum and Coba was a bit short, but we had sufficient time to see all the main highlights. I would recommend this tour - Ray was our tour guide.

Tulum and coba review - Jorge was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and helped us loads! One of the best! The trip was unbelievable! Climbing the pyramid at coba was the best! We had just enough time at all the places! The group was good and great atmosphere! And was just the right amount of people!

Great day trip. Bring snacks & water - Take an excursion today from Cancun. We were gone a total of 12.5 hours which is a really long day, but it took time to drive to Tulum and then to Coba. Paul is it great to guide. Juan was our driver. All the stops were beautiful and well worth it. Lunch was delicious and a simple buffet.

Ancient ruins and refreshing cenoté swim - Although a long day of approximately 16 hours, the experience and tour guide were well worth it! Comfortable bus with water, soft drinks and beer included at each stop. Knowledgeable tour guide Alejandro that took the time to give historical answers to all our questions. Tulum and Coba were Mayan ruins in two very different locations on windy coast and inner forest. The ability to walk up the steps of Coba was a-mazing! Local linch and Mayan blessing was a lovely addition for the day. The cenoté was very relaxing and refreshing in the beauty of being totally underground and only our tour at the location. The stop in Playa del Carmen was a bit too peopley for me but was a short stop and the sorbet was yummy. Highly recommend the tour and to bring supper snacks in your day bag.

Great Day out - Thoroughly enjoyed day. Guide was good and we did a lot. Was a little rushed at Coba for those walking around but we used tricycle and saw all we wanted. Loved the swim in the cenote and cave.

10 out of 10 Trip. Just beautiful. - Wow that was one of the best day trips I have ever had. Our guide Rodigo was amazing and really took time to explain the history, culture and customs of the Mayans. Also swimming in the Cenote and going through the caves was like having our own private Cenote as we were a small group of 10 people amd nobosy else was there. I highly recommend this trip.

Incredible cenote, great ruins - Another long day with long chunks of time in a van. Tulum was okay. I think we expected a little bit more, but the ruins were still pretty. The view of the ocean/coast was very beautiful, and the ruins were crawling with iguanas and reptiles (literally had to step over a few that were blocking the path). Marcela was a very high energy, fun guide, but it was difficult to hear her at some points of the tour. I appreciated that she always gave us the allotted time to explore on our own so we never felt rushed or like our time was being cut short. Coba was incredible. I highly, highly recommend renting a bike (or a trike if you’d rather be carted around). You will not get to see everything unless you do. They recently added new wooden steps to the ruin of Coba, and we were allowed to climb up to the top in groups of 20 max. The steps were uneven and far apart, which made the climb a little difficult for someone on the shorter side, but again the views were worth it. We also biked to the other side of the site, which was very secluded, but very worth it. We saw monkeys swinging through the trees, multiple ocellated turkeys, and even more iguanas. We were quite hungry at that point so we bought some ice cream and enjoyed a fresh coconut. The buffet was good, and we were able to eat before we went to the cenote, which I appreciated. The cenote was INCREDIBLE. We got to explore some caves, saw so many stalagmites and stalactites, and got to see lots of cute little bats on the cave ceiling! The water was refreshing after a long day outside biking and climbing and walking. Bring a towel, a change of clothes, swimsuit, water shoes for the cenote, water/water bottle, sunscreen, sun protection, and cash for tips/souvenirs. A long day but overall another great way to knock out a lot of things in one day.

Long day trip but lifetime memorable - Pickup at 6:55 at Smart Oasis. Hop on the first bus and transfer to the second bus at the Crown Paradise after checking we all paid the foreign tax for archeological site. Then the bus picked up at multiple locations in town and took over an hour to leave the down. Suggest to arrange a smaller van to pick up all people and then make the transfer. Josue was our tour guide. He has the passion of showing us Mayan culture from his own. Tulum - Have to wait about 1/2 hr to get all tickets. Visit is a bit short. Wish to have tickets ready when arrive so can spend more time. Site is one of must-see places Cobra - A bit hiking and then climbing up the pyramid. Georgeous view at the top. Guide explained along the hike Lunch - Buffet lunch and Mayan celemony Cenote Ruina - Only accessible for the tour group. Swimming in one of the georgeous cenotes Playa Carmen - arrived at 8pm.Make short 30min stop at 5ave. Wish we can arrive early and enjoy the sunset. Was a very long day trip. I started my day out at 6:30am and returned almost at 10pm. With only 4days in Cancun, I would still recommend this your for any one in a short trip

Visiting Tulum early in... - Visiting Tulum early in the morning - excellent idea, less people and no heat. Then Coba: great, just 20 more minutes there would have been better The cenote: it is an amazingly beautiful cenote, we loved it there The downsides: the van is undersized for that many hours of driving... no leg space; the lunch period is really late and the departure really early so get your snacks ready for the trip; guides are bilingual but seriously you can't expect people to understand when speaking 1 word of each instead of full sentences one language after the other..

A total disaster. Avoid Amigo Tours if you actually want to enjoy your vacation. - I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience with Amigo Tours was incredibly disappointing. Save your money and book with someone else. Here is why: • Massive Time Waste: We spent 3 hours just picking up other passengers. The actual tour didn’t start until 10:00 AM, wasting the best part of the day. • Rushed Itinerary: We were only at Tulum for 40 minutes total. The guide spoke for 10 minutes, leaving us with a pathetic 15 minutes of free time. You can’t see anything in that timeframe. • Dishonest Pricing: Despite the booking stating life jackets were included, the guide refused to honor it and demanded extra payment with a very arrogant attitude. • Hidden Fees & Tech Issues: They sent the link for site fees the night before the tour, but it didn't work. I had to chase them on WhatsApp to get a functional link, only to find a hidden $3 USD fee per person. • Poor Value: This tour is more expensive than competitors, yet the service is inferior. Between the "hidden" costs and the massive time cost of sitting in a van, it is absolutely not worth it.
