• Jasper National Park of Canada - Embark on an unforgettable adventure by climbing a frozen waterfall. This exciting, safe, and exhilarating experience allows you to explore areas that are usually off-limits to most park visitors.

This six-hour tour starts at our Jasper office, where you will meet your guide and receive your gear. We then head to our climbing destination: Maligne Canyon, Tangle Falls, or Edge of the World, depending on the weather conditions.

Upon arrival, your guide will instruct you on techniques, safety, and equipment usage. Then, it’s time to climb!

All technical gear is provided, including boots, crampons, harnesses, axes, and helmets.
Dress in winter attire with plenty of layers (similar to what you would wear at a ski resort).
Transportation is available from town to the climbing site and back.
All tours depart from the Rockaboo office at 635 Connaught Drive (look for the big grey Sea Can in the large parking lot known as the Pop-Up Village).

You will traverse sections of the canyon that remain unexplored by most park visitors. Your thrilling yet safe adventure launches and concludes at the tour center situated in the heart of Jasper. Local accredited guides guarantee your safety while you descend and ascend frozen waterfalls at several breathtaking spots. Novices are welcomed! There’s no need for prior experience.
