A fabulous tour with the most wonderful guide. - We had the most amazing time with Berenice and Wilbur ( who drove us to the Edzná Mayan site). They both speak impeccable English and were just lovely people and informative guides. We were picked up at our hotel and when we got to the site had a leasurely walk though to the entrance and enjoyed some bird watching, which continued through the tour which was wonderful as one of our party is a birder. The site was a perfect size for a 2 hour visit. we were able to walk up the structures ( unlike many of the Mayan sites), and we learned so much about the Culture and practices. As we were in essence private group we were able to enjoy a good meal at a town a little outside of Edna. Fantastic fresh fruit and fresh baked corn bread. Finally we were dropped at the bus station to get back to Mérida. They run a travel company Chelita Travel Campeche, and highly recommend booking other tours and travel with them.If back go to the fort and Mayan museum - glorious place for a sunset over the Atlantic.

A awesome day at Edzna with Berenice - We had Berenice as our guide for the Mayan archaeological site of Edzna. She was one of the best guide we have had for a long time. She was helpful, friendly and professional. She is a subject matter expert of the Mayan culture. She was passionate about the subject which make you want to know more. We had learned so much from her during the short time we were together.

Great experience, extremely recommended visit. Puuc architecture and plumbing unlike any site in the area. - Great experience, Puuc architecture and hydraulic engineering unique and different from other experiences in the area. In July, site is deserted so you enjoy the visit fully. Only negative note road to reach it a bit remote, without phone signal and with asphalt not always well put

An inspiring and... - An inspiring and interesting half day, with an excellent guide. We opted for the tour in English and found everything well explained and very informative. The tour group was the two of us and a family of three, and while it was cosy to travel by car together it was no problem. The site itself is beautiful and the relative quiet is a real plus.

Must see in Campeche - Lovely ruins that leave you stunned by how well preserved they are. You can hire a tourist guide but they charge dearly. And you can still climb some of the ruins to take great pictures

Berenice Brings Edzna to Life So You Can Really See It and Understand It! - Berenice was one of the best guides we have ever had. She was knowledgeable and had a flare for building an understanding of the Maya at Edzna as we progressed through the site. She really brought the site to life and demonstrated a depth of understanding that is rare. Her passion and excitement about Edzna and Mayan culture is apparent throughout and you can't help but share her enthusiasm as the tour progresses. She personalizes the experience and gets you to imagine living at the time. She also provides a great sense of context. Besides her knowledge and passion, we also have to say that she was just a delightful and thoughtful person. We are older travellers (75+) and she was always aware of our physical limitations without us having to say anything. She simply observed and responded. Above and beyond the tour, we discussed restaurants in Campeche and she dropped us off at one of them, which turned out to be just extraordinary. We also discussed other sites worth visiting. If we are back in Campeche again, Berenice and Chelita Travel would be our choice for another tour. We can't possible recommend them too highly.
