The chapel boasts the largest fan-vaulted ceiling globally, is adorned with magnificent stained glass windows, and even houses a Rubens painting, once the most expensive painting ever purchased.
- Peterhouse - Peterhouse, the university’s first College, was established in 1284. The group will pause outside to admire the splendid College Chapel and learn about notable alumni such as the poet Thomas Gray.
- Pembroke College - The tour will pause outside Pembroke College, the third oldest College in Cambridge, where the knowledgeable student guide will share its history, including details about the College’s Chapel, designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
