Fun few hours punting - A lovely day to spend in the sun on a day off. Our guide Ewan was very knowledgeable and fun. We had a picnic on the green afterwards. 😊

It is worth shopping around for Punting. - Scudamore's punts are not the cheapest in Cambridge coming in at £120 for 4 people. It is cheaper to go directly to Scudamore's rather than be taken in by the touts in the city who charge £126 for 4. There are several cheaper punt tours (£20 each) but Scudamore's does provide the most staff (in navy waist coats) better experience with better boats and blankets and good Punters like Roman who provided great history and insights.

Nice and relaxing - Interesting and calming experience. A guide Ben gave interesting brief facts about city development. I would recommend to book directly from a tour provider online or on-site (it will be cheaper)

A must-do experience - A lovely family outing with Scudamore’s Punting in Cambridge! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views along the River Cam and found our guide’s commentary both informative and entertaining.

Punting rour - Great day, easy to book with about 15 mins to wait for next available boat. Comfy seats with umbrellas which sadly were needed towards end of tour. Informative tour . Would definitely go again .

Best punting tour I’ve had - Living locally we like to take fitness and family visiting on the punting tour. We booked for today at 4.15 with Jack. I have to say he was by far the best tour guide we have had on the punts. I have been mate 7 or 8 times and learnt a Ben more today. Thank you jack for a great experience.

Cambridge Punting Tour - Peaceful, picturesque and very British
There’s something uniquely calming about floating down the River Cam on a sunny day. The student guide was full of fun facts and dry humour, and the scenery is exactly what you imagine when you think “classic England”.
Got to Cambridge using TrainPal—I always check prices there first, especially with their code LUCK07 for rail tickets and Railcard discounts. Makes little day trips like this easy on the wallet.
