Great tour - Our punter was Sam who had a fantastic knowledge and was able to answer questions that showed he was very capable to go off script. Really enjoyed it and recommend. We noticed some of the other companies the staff were not as smart.

Excellent - Excellent tour- really relaxing, scenic and informative. A lot of the other boats didn’t seem to be getting told anything- ours was a full history tour with interesting facts and stories. Our young guide Hector was lovely!

Worth the cost of the trip; fabulous views of the colleges and grounds from their best perspective: the river. - Though the cost of the punting trip seemed expensive at the time, we were lucky to experience a glorious sunny day on the river. Our punter, Mark, provided just the right enough of information about the scenery, the architecture, history past and present to keep us entertained.
At one point our punt came close to two other punts from rival companies; their punters didn’t sound anywhere near as informative nor pleasant as our Mark ( he commented that Scudamores was the best researched!).
The punt goes along the river then turns around to return to the starting point so passengers don’t miss out on any view or photo opportunity.

Enjoyable and informative trip - We had a highly informative and enjoyable punting trip today. Our guide, Yoav, was friendly and good humoured, with a rich knowledge of the route, which he articulated well. He was also aware if we were chatting, and didn't interrupt.
Based on our experience, we would definitely go again.

Super fun experience - Such a fun experience. Sebastian gave a great tour and made it really fun and interesting. This is definitely a must do when in Cambridge as it’s a great way to see the colleges and learn more about Cambridge and the university.

Guided punt - 2-night stay in Cambridge with friends, who wouldn't want to punt on the river with a guide! Sunny morning so we took the opportunity to hear stories of Cambridge and the university. Our guide, Dane was great. Knowledgeable, funny with plenty of stories from which we learnt a lot. So happy we did this - it'll be a morning to remember. Thanks Dane.

Fun afternoon on the River Cam - It was a good outing on a nice day. Our punter & guide was a young graduate from Manchester who liked working outside and meeting people from all over the world.

Worth a punt! - Nice little trip to Cambridge, not complete without a punt. Please haggle tho, we were told £45 each, refused that price, we eventually got him down to £25 which is a much more reasonable price. (Felt sorry for those paying £45 tho), Yes a great experience, but you can be crammed on the punts, it gets crazily busy and the boats bump into each other.
Great thing to do on a summers day and the commentary is worth it!

Punting Trip - Got stopped by one of the touts, but it was something we wanted to do anyway, so were happy to oblige. The price seemed steep, around £74 for a row for 2 people, but he lowered it to £60 as it was the last one of the day. Personally, we think we might have got him to go lower if we had haggled harder, but we didn't mind.
The tour was great, a trip up and down the river, looking at the universities and famous bridges. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing many details and interacting well with the passengers. The stretch of river was beautiful and we particularly enjoyed the bridge of sighs.
Punting is something you absolutely must do in Cambridge and Scudamores are experts. The boat was comfortable and cosy. It was nice to see how busy the river is and how they employ a lot of young people and students.
Fantastic experience.
