Absolutely take this tour!! - Our driver/guide, Michael, was tremendous! He was funny and took the time to answer questions for us. I hope the bus you take has Michael as your guide!! He sounds like Ricky Gervais ;-)

Well worth it to sample Cambridge - We did the bus tour today. The driver welcoming us on board was full of humour. The bus was clean and we had nothing but admiration for the driver's skills negotiating the narrow streets, sharp corners and other traffic. That said some of the streets are rough in parts and two 78 year olds did feel the bumps!! Street and bus suspension at fault!! The commentary was recorded and was clear and comprehensive. The weather was kind. Time well spent.

Good experience we went very fast past some out of town bits though - I really enjoyed the bus, it was very fast on the out of town bit . . There were things like the windmill that i couldnt take photos of coz we went too fast past it and there were quite alot of low trees and i ended up with a handful of seeds in the bottom of my handbag after the journey. . .but all in all, it was an enjoyable experience and very informative.

The best bus ride in Cambridge - John was the bus driver. Not only was John personable but he was extremely helpful with my navigating the town. I highly recommend hop on,hop off bus with John as your driver!! I also thought that John was really cute! Christina Adams

A ride well worth taking. - An excellent way to get an overview of what Cambridge has to offer and which you can then go back and visit at leisure. Our trip was made all the more enjoyable by the good humoured comments of our driver interjected into the recorded commentary (he came from Basildon and our ticket gives his number as 8509066). We’ve visited Cambridge many times over the years, never done the bus tour before, and are very glad we did.

Comfortable journey with excellent driver Michael - Today we had the pleasure of hopping on the bus with busdriver Michael. The tour was a warm welcome to Cambridge and we were pleasantly surprised about all the facts and information we learned along the way. Meanwhile Michael happened to be an experienced and excellent driver and it was very comfortable to be on his bus. He was utterly friendly and we told him he should recieve an award for his driving skills. Thank you for making our day in Cambridge so special!

Cambridge tour buses do not run to timetable due to major diversions & delays!! - There are currently ongoing diversions in Cambridge, so the Sightseeing bus took adifferent route, which we were not informed of. Consequently, our journey from stop 4 at 4.10pm to stop 14 took 1hr 25mins.l!!! We were then 30mins late for our coach home to Midlands & 50 other passengers who had already boarded, had to wait for our arrival. The whole Hop on, hop off experience was very stressful & uncomfortable due to the hard plastic seats, and dreadful music, which continued despite being stuck in traffic & travelling at a snails pace!! The driver was very sympathetic, but unfortunately there was nothing he could do to speed the journey. If we had been informed of diversion delays, we could have got an earlier bus.

Rubbish - We were stuck on the bus for over 1 hour 15 mins before we even started to get out of city almost going around in circles each stop took ages it was painful was so slow we couldn’t handle the music anymore so got off at the bridge which again was so slow at the stop we could have walked it all quicker, I remember it being so much better won’t be doing that again waste of money.
