- Beng Mealea - Discover the Beng Mealea temple, whose exact origins are unknown but can be dated by its architectural style, which mirrors Angkor Wat. Scholars believe it was built during King Suryavarman II’s reign in the early 12th century. Although smaller than Angkor Wat, the king’s primary monument, Beng Mealea is still one of the larger temples of the Khmer empire. The gallery forming the temple’s outer enclosure measures 181 m by 152 m. It was once the center of a town, encircled by a moat measuring 1025 m by 875 m and 45 m wide. The temple remains unrestored and is fully collapsed.

You are going to visit Koh Ker temple that built in 10th-century by Jayavarman IV in the north Cambodian jungle. This temple is a remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia about 120 kilometres (75 mi) away from Siem Reap and the ancient site of Angkor and it take time about two and half hours away from Siem Reap, and basic visitors’ facilities are now being built. Then you are going to visit Beng Mealea temple built as a Hindu temple, but there are some carvings depicting buddhist motifs. Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps. For years it was difficult to reach, but a road recently built to the temple complex of Koh Ker passes Beng Mealea and more visitors are coming to the site, as it is 77 km from Siem Reap by road.
