Decent tour with a knowledgeable guide! - We participated the group led by Nara (the tour guide). He taught us the general history of Cambodia and also the religious background behind the scenic points and historical monuments. His knowledge is deep enough to enjoy the narratives. He also is a very good photographer, not only with iPhone but also with my professional camera! The tour itself was organised decently like the time to spend at each stop, lunch time, and the waterfall swimming. If you don’t swim, you might get long free time but you can wait in the air conditioned cafe. The whole experience was simply worth! The admission and meal are all included. What you may need to pay for is the changing room for swimming and the safe box during your swimming time, but they are only less than 2 dollars.

Excellent day out! - Must-do tour if you are in Siem Reap! Nara was an excellent tour guide - very friendly, funny and knowledgeable on the history of Cambodia and gave us loads of info, even drew diagrams in the sand! We had a great day, the waterfalls are breathtaking and well worth the visit.

Great views and relaxed vibe - This is a worthwhile trip to add to any itinerary to Siem Reap. A bit off the beaten path as you'll learn along an admittedly bumpy ride (which the driver Veng navigated as best as he could given the condition of the roads), Kulen stands out as a special landmark that benefits from a more relaxed vibe on account of the fewer number of tourists that make the trek there compared to other sites in the area. Tola was a friendly and knowledgeable guide, and the photos he took at the overlook are some of my favorite from my visit to the area. Do yourself a favor and book this one next time you're in Siem Reap. I promise you won't regret it.

We had a fun and interesting day out with our excellent tour guide Lok. - We were picked up on time and taken to the Kulin Mountain, we saw a lookout point, a reclining Buddha, an interesting river had lunch and swam at the waterfall. A fun day at a reasonable price. I recommend.

Incredible tour of the Kulen mountains and waterfall! - We had the great fortune to have Lok as our guide (he was also our amazing guide for Angkor Wat). Lok is so incredibly knowledgeable about Khmer history, religion and he was generous in sharing his own stories and experiences as well! Anyone with Lok as their guide has hit the jackpot! The lookouts, the reclining Buddha and of course the waterfall make this tour an experience you’ll never forget. Thank you Lok!

An Unforgettable Waterfall Experience – Thanks to Nara - This day trip to the waterfall was easily one of the highlights of my travels. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well paced, and thoughtfully organised — but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Nara. Nara was simply outstanding. Super informative without ever being overwhelming, he shared fascinating insights about the area, local culture, and history in a way that felt natural and engaging. You could tell he genuinely cares about what he does. What impressed me most was his attentiveness. He made sure everyone was comfortable, answered every question with patience, and never rushed the group. He also took countless photos for us — always knowing the best angles and spots — which meant we could fully enjoy the moment without worrying about capturing it ourselves. A lovely surprise was the local food he brought to different stop stations along the way. It added such an authentic touch to the day and made the experience feel personal rather than commercial. The waterfall itself was beautiful, of course, but it was Nara’s energy, professionalism, and warmth that turned a great excursion into an unforgettable one. If you have the chance to book this trip, I would highly recommend it — and if you can go with Nara, even better.
