The experience begins with a light brunch accompanied by a beverage pairing, followed by a visit to the Calgary Farmers Market. Here, participants will have the opportunity to meet and listen to stories from a dozen Alberta farmers and food artisans.

Fantastic experience - This was so much fun and lots of food. The passion that our guide, Karen has for the food of Alberta was so infectious. It was an amazing tour and I highly recommend this for anyone.

Best to come with an appetite!! - This was such a fun tour!!. I knew that we would be having "Brunch" of some sort so came hungry and glad I did :) The Beef and Bacon Breakfast Burger was a tremendous start. Along with VERY fresh berries and OJ with a twist, I was well satisfied (as was my husband).
Lisa gave a most excellent tour, combining interesting facts about agriculture and small food industries in Alberta with personal information about the various vendors we were to see. Much fun and we learned a lot - food for the brain as well as body.
I would recommend this tour to anyone. Visitors to Alberta will appreciate this time well spent.

Best way to spend a Sunday in Calgary - A wonderful food tour! Great value, you won’t leave hungry. Start with breakfast, lots of samples and treats from 15 of the local vendors. Highly recommend 😁

Nice taste of Canada! - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour to give us a sample of Canadian Food while visiting Calgary, Canmore & Banff. It was our last day in Canada, and purchased this tour based on the reviews. Lisa, our tour guide, was great! Very knowledgeable and fun! We started out with a breakfast sandwich (Canadian style), fruit, juice & coffee. Very good! Then we went around to different vendors and enjoyed samples and learned a little history. Fun tour!

An enjoyable experience - My wife and our adult son attended the Sunday Brunch & Farmers Market tour this past Sunday. The lunch and tour were excellent. Your guide Lisa was very informative and lots of fun. We will definitely consider taking another tour with Alberta Food Tours next summer.

A tasty adventure in the Calgary Market - Kerry was upbeat and informative. She knew all the ins and outs of the Market and the vendors. The savoury start to or tour was wonderful. Felt the other food samples could have been a bit more generous, having gone on multiple food tours in the past. Having an option for tea would have been welcome. The Market was a wonderful foodie spot to explore.

Great experience at the Calgary farmers market - Visiting from California/Nevada we had the opportunity to take the Sunday morning walking food tour. It was a fantastic experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Lisa was a wonderful guide and was quite informative. We learned a lot about Alberta and had several delicious samples along the way. The brunch to start off the tour was very tasty.

Enjoyable, informative experience - We were part of a group of six on a Sunday-morning tour. Our guide, Lisa, was excellent—enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was delightful to hear the vendors’ passion for what they do, their commitment to respecting the land, soil, and animals under their care. I would only say, as mild criticism, that some of the samples were rather small and uninteresting.

Calgary farmers market tour - We enjoyed the calgary farmers mkt tour. Without this educational tour the farmers mkt visit would have been brief like an hour. But with the education, samplings and brunch it was a good 2 hrs. Our children got special treats that were healthy too, including one who eats gluten free. Overall a great indoor experience!
