• Cairo Citadel - Our guide will meet you at your hotel at your convenience. You’ll visit The Saladin Citadel of Cairo (Qalaʿat Salāḥ ad-Dīn), a medieval Islamic fortress in Cairo, Egypt. Located on Mokattam Hill near central Cairo, it was once renowned for its fresh air and panoramic city views. Today, it is a preserved historic site featuring mosques and museums. In 1976, UNESCO declared it part of the World Heritage Site Historic Cairo (Islamic Cairo), which was “the new center of the Islamic world, reaching its golden age in the 14th century.”
• National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NEMC - Explore the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, which aligns with the museum’s concept of showcasing civilizations from Prehistory to modern times. The museum is partially open, featuring a temporary exhibition on the history and industry of four crafts in Egypt from prehistory to modern history. You’ll also see the oldest leather tanning artifacts in Egypt.
• Coptic Cairo - Discover Old Cairo, where you can visit the 3rd-century Hanging Church, built on the remains of two towers from the Babylon Fortress. You’ll also see the Church of Abu Serga, which houses the holy crypt, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue for Jewish heritage.
