Cairo Museum with Gate2Egypt - Using tour guide Mahmoud Mostafa of Gate2Egypt we enjoyed every min (hours) in the Museum. He imparting his expertise with us. What a delight. Will visit again

Grand Egyptian Museum - Our visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum was nothing short of inspiring. Martina was genuine curiosity and appreciation for history truly shone throughout the experience. She explored the exhibits with such enthusiasm, taking time to admire the incredible artifacts and learn about Egypt’s rich and fascinating past. It was wonderful to see how engaged she was, asking thoughtful questions and sharing interesting insights along the way. Martina brought such a positive energy to the day, making the entire trip even more memorable for everyone involved. A truly lovely experience made even better by her presence. Excellent 'old' Museum tour - Our guide for this tour of the original Egyptian Museum was Sayed Mohamed. He arrived promptly at the designated time and spent the time on the journey to Tahrir Square discussing modern Egypt. The museum tour itself was informative, enjoyable and memorable. Our guide was very knowledgeable and communicated well. The tour concluded with a traditional Koshari lunch which we enjoyed.

Best guide ever - There was an initial issue with the tittle of the tour. We thought we had bought lunch but it was optional and not expressively said in the tittle.
Our great guide Tito handled this perfectly, a commercial gesture was made and we had a delicious local lunch paid for.
Tito was just amazing. He lives and breathes his work. Your was lively, fascinating and very well documented.
It’s worth spending the money.

SCAM - After calling us the day before to tell us that our hotel was "too far away" and asking us for 60 euros more for transport (we were 6 PEOPLE) and as we did not want to pay well we were forced to pay the entrance to the museum (60 euros) although this was included in our reservation...even our guide (very competent in fact) was surprised by this way of acting... above all avoid going through this organization let's explore egypt!!!!!!

Bad experience because we felt we were ripped off - My booking included pick up, lunch and entry tickets. The tour guide arrived as arranged but did not know what museum we were going to. We were obliged to buy our own entry tickets, and he denied any knowledge of our lunch, so we didn't have any. He also spent most of the tour trying to get us to visit a papyrus place, rather than focusing on our museum tour. He was knowledgeable and friendly enough, but did not give us the tour I had paid for. And we were ripped of essentially - no entry fees included and no lunch, both of which were included in my deal.

Don't book this tour - you will not attend, but lose your money and TripAdvisor won't help you - I had booked this tour and received confirmation via WhatsApp the evening before, stating that other tours were available. I tried to communicate exclusively via TripAdvisor, but politely declined because I had already planned the rest of the tours. After that, no more messages came - I thought OK.
The next day I waited until 9:15 a.m., but no one showed up. After I was contacted via WhatsApp the evening before without being asked, I asked where the expected guide was, who had been confirmed to me the evening before. The response was: "Your tour was cancelled - request refund".
So I spent the next 1 1/2 hours trying to find a contact address for TripAdvisor to describe this case. To date, more than a week later, I have received neither an answer nor the amount.
I have therefore cancelled all the other tours that I had booked via TripAdvisor. I think that's a shame, especially because I have had few problems with TripAdvisor so far. But the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
So I hope that I can at least warn people about this tour operator.

Very unpleasant experience - A very bad experience. Neither Guide nor driver showed up. We contacted the agency to know what happened but they didn't reply or tried any type of contact afterwards. Viator didn't provide any further explanation either.

Awful - We were refused entry even though we bought tickets through you. We had to pay extra to gain entry and for a guide and no lunch included we also had to make our own way there
