An unforgettable day - The night before the tour I got a message from our guide when we will be picked up, we even got a photo of the car and the driver. Top 👍
Our companion Ramy spoke perfect German and was very friendly and has responded to all needs.
It was a very nice day, I can only recommend the tour.

Best Egyptologist for Cairo Experience! - We had a wonderful experience with Tony! He is an extremely knowledgeable Egyptologist and very kind individual! He made our trip to the see the Pyramids and the Sphinx so memorable! He was clearly well-versed in Egyptian history and even read hieroglyphics for us! Other guides were telling us he taught them everything they know! We were traveling with our 12-month-old and he made the schedule flexible for us! I would definitely recommend Tony for your next adventure in Egypt!

An Unforgettable Tour with an Excellent Guide Tony - We booked a tour covering the pyramids of Cairo (including the Sphinx) and the museum. The pickup time was punctual, and the smooth communication made a great first impression.
Our guide, Tony, explained Egypt’s great and long history in a very clear and thoughtful way. Needless to say, the pyramids and the camel ride were truly breathtaking experiences. Tony also kindly pointed out which souvenir shops were unnecessary and which spots we could skip, which we really appreciated.
Although the lunch restaurant was crowded and we couldn’t enter at the scheduled time (which was not the guide’s fault), Tony quickly came up with an alternative plan, allowing us to learn about the fascinating history of papyrus. At the museum, he patiently answered all of our questions.
This tour is absolutely worth experiencing, and we are very grateful to Tony.
カイロのピラミッド(スフィンクス含む)と博物館のツアーを予約しました。ピックアップタイムはオンタイムでスムーズなコミュニケーションが好印象でした。ガイドのTonyさんはエジプトの偉大で長い歴史をとてもわかりやすく丁寧に説明してくれました。いうまでもなくピラミッドとラクダツアーは息を呑むような体験でした。Tonyは買わなくてもいいお土産、入らなくてもいいスポットを丁寧に教えてくれました。ランチのレストランが混んでいて時間通りに入れませんでしたが(これはガイドのせいではありません)、代替手段を考えてくれて、パピルスの興味深い歴史を知ることができました。博物館では、Tonyは丁寧に質問に答えてくれました。非常に見る価値のあるツアーですし、Tonyには感謝しています。

Nice tour guide and great explanation - The tour guide, Tony, is very nice and professional in and he explains very well on all the artifacts of the Grand Egyptian museum. I leaned deeply about the history of the ancient Egypt from his explanation.

kairo tour - Our guide, Mr Imani, was really very good. He could explain everything very well to us in German and has always paid attention to our safety. The tour was very pleasant and completely stress-free, and we had enough time to take lots of photos.
In short: There is no need for a private tour for more money – even in the group everything was excellently organized. Definitely recommended. thank you

A Costly Mistake: Scams, Abusive Language, and Misinformation with Manali - Our experience with OceanAir was deeply disappointing due to our guide, Manali. We booked a high-priced tour expecting quality, but instead felt like targets for constant upselling and scams.
The Financial Red Flags:
It began with the "airport pickup" which was advertised as included but required a $19/person surcharge. We opted for a hotel pickup at 8:00 AM, but Manali began calling at 7:20 AM, rushing us before the agreed time. Later, she quoted 1500 EGP per person for a camel ride; we later discovered the actual price was only 400 EGP. She also attempted to extort a "parking fee" at the GEM museum. When we messaged the agency to verify, they confirmed it was included. Upon being caught, Manali became hostile and yelled at us in the middle of the museum for contacting her office.
Hostile Environment & Verbal Abuse:
The most devastating part was using a translator app and hearing the abusive language and insults Manali was using about us to the driver in Arabic. She was unprofessional and disrespectful. Throughout the day, she rushed us, getting visibly annoyed when we tried to take photos. We were forced into perfume and papyrus shops despite the entire group explicitly saying "no." It was clear she was only interested in her commission.
Poor Quality & Misinformation:
Manali was not fluent in English and provided factually incorrect history. She claimed all organs, including the heart, were removed during mummification; when we corrected her, she argued, though every other guide and museum resource confirmed the heart stayed inside. Lunch was underwhelming, and drinks were charged at 200 EGP—ten times the local price.
Conclusion:
While the OceanAir office agents were helpful when contacted, the actual tour was a nightmare. We paid for a premium experience and received scams, rushing, and verbal abuse. Request a different guide or avoid entirely.

Very disappointing experience – do NOT recommend - ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience – do NOT recommend
We visited Egypt in November 2025 and booked a Cairo tour with OceanAir Travels. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
First, the pickup was late. Then, on the way to Cairo, the driver stopped for a very long time at their partner shop, forcing tourists to shop and eat there. Because of this unnecessary stop, we arrived in Cairo very late (around 11:00 AM), even though we had started the trip at 02:00 AM.
Due to the delay, the tour guide told us that we could not visit all the planned and promised attractions. Without our agreement, he significantly shortened the program, and we missed many important sights — after such a long and exhausting journey, this was extremely frustrating.
After the tour, we were promised compensation, but since November we have contacted the company multiple times and have received no reply at all.
Stay away from this provider.
They may offer cheap prices, but they mislead tourists and deliver very poor service.
We are extremely dissatisfied and would absolutely not recommend OceanAir Travels to anyone.
