• Cairo - The day begins at 7:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by a tour guide. You will be transferred in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria, which is 220 km away from Cairo. Arrival in Alexandria is around 10 am, where your day tour will commence.

• Ancient Roman Amphitheater - Visit the Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, sections of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths.

It was part of the Mouseion, a research institution dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts. The concept of a universal library in Alexandria may have been suggested by Demetrius of Phalerum to Ptolemy I Soter, with the library likely constructed during the reign of his son, Ptolemy II Philadelphus. The library amassed numerous papyrus scrolls due to the Ptolemaic kings’ proactive and well-funded text acquisition policies. Estimates of the number of scrolls range from 40,000 to 400,000 at its peak.

• Fort Qaitbey - The Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century defensive fortress, is located on the Mediterranean Sea coast in Alexandria, Egypt. Constructed between 1477 and 1479 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa’it Bay, the citadel is positioned on the eastern side of the northern tip of Pharos Island at the entrance of the Eastern Harbour.

• Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi - The Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque is a historic Egyptian mosque in Alexandria. Named after the 13th-century mystic Abu’l Abbas al-Mursi, it also serves as his burial site, along with members of the Ashraf family.

• Cairo - The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Cairo, with an expected return around 7:00 pm.
