A Day in Cairo: A Journey Through Time

Cairo, a city that has long been on my bucket list, finally became a reality. As a wildlife photographer with a deep love for Africa, I was eager to explore the cultural and historical richness of this vibrant city. My adventure began with the Cairo Highlights Tour, a journey that promised to take me through the heart of Cairo’s history and culture.

The Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque

Our day started early, with the sun casting a golden hue over the city. Our guide, Max, or Mohsen Hassan as he’s known locally, greeted us with a warm smile and an infectious enthusiasm for Egypt’s history. The Egyptian Museum and Coptic Cairo

Our journey continued to the Egyptian Museum, where Max expertly guided us through the most significant artifacts.
