Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Offers a view of the citadel from within.
The outer open court features a copper clock tower, a gift to Muhammad Ali Pasha from Louis Philippe of France in 1262 AH/1845 AD. In return, Muhammad Ali Pasha presented an obelisk of Ramesses II (c.1279–1213 BC) that originally stood in front of Luxor Temple. Today, it is located in the Place de la Concorde Square, Paris. - The Coptic Museum - Displays funerary stelae (2nd-5th century) from Kom Abou Billou, showcasing a style and iconography that bridges the gap between Pharaonic religious art (Horus falcon, Anubis jackal) and Coptic art (orant with raised arms, crosses, birds) symbolizing the anticipated resurrection.

Excellent service from egypt best holidays - The tour was well-organized, with a friendly and knowledgeable guide who kept the group engaged and informed throughout the day. The pace was comfortable, allowing ample time at each site to explore and take photos. Transportation was smooth, and the local insights added depth to the visit.

Best Experience in Egypt - Our 3-day trip was full of fun and insightful learning about Egypt history and culture from the ancient times to present. Our tour guide Mohammed ensured we had a fantastic experience in all the tourist spots giving us thorough explanations to understand the roots of Egypt. We love our visit to the Papyrus and perfume oil shops. It was amazing to learn how the Egyptians make paper from the Papyrus plant and how they extract oils and make perfumes for different uses like for aroma,massage, medicine and perfume.

Coptic & Islamic Cairo, with Mohamed - Had already toured with Mohamed (through Dr. Mo's tours) a week prior, when I got to see the pyramids, and was happy to reconnect with Mohamed again for this trip.
Was a choice I had to make, since I had another almost full day in Cairo, with a flight leaving for Aswan late in the evening. Had thought about Suez Canal, Alexandria, and other options, but finally decided to stay put in Cairo, and check out Old Cairo (Coptic & Islamic Cairo) with Mohamed. Good choice, and absolutely worth it.
Since Mohamed was already familiar with me, the day got off to a great start with breakfast along the roadside, just like the locals (need to find the pic), and after that, it was non-stop exposure to the culture and architecture in Cairo. Visited two churches (beautiful), and a couple more mosques, and the one inside the Citadel (since we had time, and I had wanted to see the big mosque inside the Citadel).
Just mind-blowing architecture, along with some amazing insights from Mohamed, made the tour a really good one.
Had a little time on our hands, and got to spend time at a tea establishment in the marketplace (Khan-e-Khalili?), watching life unfold on a lazy weekday afternoon in Cairo.
Was able to squeeze in a felucca ride on the Nile, and that was a welcome break, after walking around in the sun all day. Managed to get koshary (yum) and rayeb for a quick meal before getting to see the first half of the light show at Giza (unfortunately couldn't see it all, since I had a flight to catch, but what I saw was really well done, and I will have to catch the second half of the show another day).
In all, was a great day in Cairo, and really enjoyed it thanks to Mohamed. His driver drove us around patiently all day and got me to the airport in good time in the evening!
Absolutely recommend Mohamed and Dr. Mo tours as well, through which this was organized.

The man, the myth, Mohamed - Mohamed has extensive knowledge of the history of his homeland. That being said, it is not just this knowledge that makes him the best choice. It is his undying passion for the culture and mythology of this amazing world that he loves and embraces. He will guide you as well with a local perspective that exceeds the expectations of a normal tour guide. I strongly recommend anyone to choose a private tour with Mohamed over any other type of tour. After two days of traveling his world with him, I feel that I made a new friend, as well as learned about his amazing city and culture.

Excellent knowledgeable tour guide & reasonable prices. - Me and 4 friends went on a private tour with Mohammad and he was fantastic. He had excellent knowledge of all the places, spoken really good English and was not pushy. His prices were really reasonable and he really looked after us. He is a genuine guy which is difficult to find.

50/50 - I have used this tour company on July 2023, Guide and site seeing was good, but accommodation what they provide in Cairo and ain sokhna is very BAD,
