DAY 01 Cairo: Arrival
Cairo - Welcome to Cairo! The tour begins with a warm greeting from a representative who will assist with immigration and customs procedures. After collecting luggage, guests will be transported in a deluxe vehicle to their Cairo hotel.
DAY 02 Cairo: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara, Memphis
Pyramids of Giza - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day tour. The morning includes a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, renowned as the most iconic monuments of ancient Egypt and the ancient world. Note: The tour includes entry into the Great Pyramid.
Step Pyramid of Djoser - Following lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to Sakkara to view the first pyramid ever constructed, the Step Pyramid of Djoser, along with some remarkable mastaba tombs.
Memphis and Sakkara - The day concludes with a guided tour of the open-air museum in Memphis, where the Colossus of Ramses II is a highlight. After this enriching journey through Egypt’s pharaonic history, guests will return to their hotel.
DAY 03 Cairo: Egyptian Museum, Citadel with Mohamed Ali Mosque, Old Cairo Churches
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - After breakfast, guests will visit the Egyptian Museum to marvel at the treasures of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask. Note: Access to the Mummies room is included.
Cairo Citadel - Post-lunch at a local restaurant, the tour proceeds to the Citadel of Saladin, a fortress constructed between 1176 and 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the Crusaders, later rebuilt by Muhammad Ali Pasha, whose mosque is a must-see. The tour also includes visits to Cairo’s famous churches, such as The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, both integrated into the walls of the Fort of Babylon, possibly Cairo’s oldest structures, and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), believed to be where the Holy Family sought refuge in a cave, with the church built to honor this event. This area is a renowned pilgrimage site.
Coptic Cairo - The tour continues with visits to Cairo’s notable churches, including The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, both built into the Fort of Babylon’s walls, potentially Cairo’s oldest structures, and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where the Holy Family is said to have taken refuge in a cave, with the church erected to commemorate this. This area is a world-famous pilgrimage destination.
DAY 04 Alexandria: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Catacomb, Roman Amphitheatre, Qaitbay Citadel
Bibliotheca Alexandrina - The day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a 2.5-hour drive in an air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria, where guests will check in at their hotel upon arrival. The first tour in this stunning city, originally founded by Alexander the Great, includes a visit to the New Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina), inaugurated on October 16, 2002, with space for eight million books and an eleven-level main reading room.
Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - The tour continues with a visit to the Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery with three levels carved into the rock. After lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria, the tour proceeds to the Qaitbay Citadel.
Fort Qaitbey - The Citadel of Qaitbay, fortified around 1480 AD by the Mameluke Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay on the site of the Alexandria Lighthouse ruins, now stands as a prominent citadel on the Mediterranean coast, along with the Roman Amphitheatre, a feature of every town in the ancient Roman Empire.
DAY 05 Alexandria: Montazah Gardens, Drive to Cairo
Montazah Gardens - After breakfast, guests will visit the Montazah Gardens, a private park frequented by world leaders, featuring 150 acres of diverse trees, palms, and flowers overlooking numerous bays and beaches.
After lunch, guests will be driven back to Cairo.
DAY 06 Cairo: Khan Khalili Bazaar, Dinner Cruise
Khan Al-Khalili - Following breakfast at the hotel, guests will visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar to practice their bargaining skills.
Nile River - In the evening, enjoy a farewell Nile cruise dinner, lasting two hours, featuring Folkloric Shows and Belly Dancers. After the cruise, guests will be transported back to their hotel.
DAY 07 Cairo: Final Departure
Cairo - The final day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. Guests will then be transferred to the airport for their departure.
