• Cairo - The Cairo Layover Tour to the Giza Pyramids begins and concludes at Cairo Airport. This tour is available from 7 am to 1 pm. Upon exiting the terminal at Cairo Airport, a tour guide will warmly welcome you with a sign displaying your name. You will then be transported to Giza City in a private, modern vehicle. Before reaching Giza City, the tour guide will provide a comprehensive overview of Egypt.

The guide will share the historical context of ancient Egypt, explaining why and how the pyramids were built, and the era during which they were constructed.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Continue your Cairo layover tour with a visit to the Middle Pyramid of Giza, belonging to King Chephren, the son of Cheops. Here, you can explore the complete pyramid complex, which includes burial chambers located within the pyramid itself.

• Great Sphinx - This mortuary is situated outside the pyramid temple and is connected by a causeway leading to a valley temple where the king’s body was mummified.

After visiting the Second Pyramid, the guide will take you to a panoramic spot where you can view all the pyramids at once. This location is ideal for taking a jumping photo with the pyramids as a backdrop. The tour guide will assist in capturing professional photos with the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Conclude your layover day tour with a visit to The Sphinx, located near the Valley Temple. The Sphinx is the oldest and largest in Egypt, featuring a lion’s body and a human head, believed to be a portrait of Khafre, who built the Middle Pyramid of Giza. Camel rides and entry inside any of the pyramids can be arranged for an additional charge. After completing your visit, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport.
