- The Grand Egyptian Museum - Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, the world’s largest archaeological museum, featuring thousands of ancient artifacts in a contemporary setting. Spend approximately 2 hours exploring its highlights with a private guide.
- Pyramids of Giza - The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Great Pyramid or the Pyramid of Khufu, is an ancient Egyptian wonder and the largest of the Giza Pyramids. Built to honor Khufu, the second pharaoh of Egypt’s 4th dynasty, it was completed around 2560 BCE.
Today, the Great Pyramid is the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its marvel lies not only in its size but also in the incredible precision of its construction. While it is believed to be Khufu’s burial site, only an empty sarcophagus is found inside. Originally standing at about 482 feet (147 meters) tall with four sides measuring approximately 755 feet (230 meters) each, the pyramid’s stepped sides were once covered with polished limestone casing stones. These stones, each weighing an impressive 15 tons and intricately interlocked, would have given the structure a brilliant shine in the sunlight.
- Great Sphinx - This is one of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks and is arguably the most famous example of sphinx art. The Great Sphinx is among the world’s largest sculptures, measuring about 240 feet (73 meters) long and 66 feet (20 meters) high. It features a lion’s body and a human head with a royal headdress.
- Sharm El Sheikh - Concluding this memorable journey, guests will be safely returned to their hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. They will travel comfortably in an air-conditioned bus for the round trip back.
