8:00 a:m Our Egypt Tailor Made tour guide will escort you by an air-conditioned vehicle to visit The Citadel of Saladin Al Ayouby. It was built in the 12th century to fortify Cairo against the Crusaders. The citadel was used as the seat of the king and his government in Egypt and the Great Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha stands proudly on the highest point inside the Citadel of Saladin.
Then, going to visit Coptic buildings in Cairo, The Monastery of St. Simon the Tanner or The Cave Church which is located in el Mokattam hills area near the Zabbaleen slum or Garbage City which is Cairo’s largest informal garbage collectors settlement, This church is the largest church in the Middle East.
Then, End the tour by taking a break at el Azahar Park which is located by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo, There are also great restaurants there if you want to have a meal in front of this great view.
After this trip, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Amazing tour with Manar - What an amazing tour we just had with Manar. Her storytelling style is so fun and intriguing it kept us engaged the whole time. Not only was she an amazing storyteller, she also made sure we were not harassed by any street vendors and made our time with her completely stress free. Thank you Manar for taking such great care of us.

Truly a Tailored Egyptian Experience - Given we only had 4 full days during our stay, we were still able to squeeze every major item on our list into our itinerary. Our guides Hend and Rania were incredibly knowledgeable, patient with our toddler, and catered to our every need. They were even flexible when we had last second adds/changes to our itinerary.

Awesome day with Sabry! - Awesome day with Sabry! He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful and accommodating. The tour itself was excellent, and we'd highly recommend him to anyone wanting a real education on Egyptian history and a really fun day.

Cairo - Sabry was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and qualified. He was very pleasant to spend the day with, and we will be reaching out to him if we need to book any other tours in Cairo. It was worth the extra expense to have a private tour, especially since it included a private air conditioned car.

Coptic & Islamic Cairo - Sabry was a font of knowledge, including a distilled version of 5000 years of Egyptian history in about two hours (I'm not kidding). He was generous and sincere, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone interested in more than just the dates and names, but also the meaning and the impact of that history through today. Plus he even gave me pity laughs at my very bad jokes. And for a solo traveler, he was wonderfully patient and kind to take so many photos!
Mustafa was a wizard of a driver too. Thank you both! A great tour.

Great experience, best guide, Ahmed - Ahmed Zaki was my guide. Wonderful company, knowledgeable without being overwhelming, kind and flexible. He also treated me to the best falafel and mango juice in Cairo!

The mystery of Cairo's intruiging and complex past explained by Heba of Egypt Tailormade Tours - For me the best part of this tour was grazing through the Kan El Khalil Bazaar, I normally don't like to shop but this was a full sensory experience, the pulse of the city, with many different treasures on display in a marketplace that has been in operation for hundreds of years. Many thanks to our wonderful guide Heba for enlightening us on her city and homeland!

Essential but…. - Going to Giza is an essential place in life.
Being, feeling, looking and of course taking photos.
But we went with a travel agency that did not put pressure on the visit time. Once you have saved and waited to get to that wonder, there is no need to be pressured by time.
P.S. Any agency does the same.
