Pyramids of Giza - The Giza pyramid complex, also known as the Giza necropolis, is located in Egypt and features the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx. These were constructed during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of ancient Egypt, around 2600 to 2500 BC. The site also includes several temples, cemeteries, and remnants of a workers’ village.

Memphis and Sakkara - Memphis (Arabic: مَنْف, romanized: Manf, pronounced [mænf]; Bohairic Coptic: ⲙⲉⲙϥⲓ; Greek: Μέμφις), or Men-nefer, was the ancient capital of Inebu-hedj, the first nome of Lower Egypt, known as mḥw (“North”). Its ruins are near the modern village of Mit Rahina (Arabic: ميت رهينة), in the Badrashin district, Giza, Egypt. This modern name likely originates from the late Ancient Egyptian name for Memphis, mjt-rhnt, meaning “Road of the Ram-Headed Sphinxes.”

Alongside the pyramid fields that extend over a desert plateau for more than 30 kilometers (19 miles) to the west, including the renowned Pyramids of Giza, they are recognized as the World Heritage Site Memphis and its Necropolis. The site is accessible to the public as an open-air museum.

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Saqqara is home to the oldest complete stone building complex known in history, the Pyramid of Djoser, constructed during the Third Dynasty. Sixteen other Egyptian kings also built pyramids at Saqqara, which are now in various states of preservation. High-ranking officials added private funeral monuments to this necropolis throughout the entire Pharaonic period. It remained a significant site for non-royal burials and cult ceremonies for over 3000 years, continuing into Ptolemaic and Roman times.

Pyramids of Dahshour - Dahshur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the Western Desert plateau at the edge of the cultivated plain. Together with the pyramid complexes at Saqqara, Abusir, and Giza to its north, it forms the pyramid fields of the ancient capital city of Memphis. It is renowned for several pyramids, particularly Senefru’s Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613 to 2589 BC.

Alexandria - The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Latin, ‘Library of Alexandria; Egyptian Arabic: مكتبة الإسكندرية, romanized: Maktabet al-Eskendereyya, pronounced [mækˈtæb(e)t eskendeˈɾejjæ]) (BA) is a prominent library and cultural center located on the Mediterranean Sea shore in Alexandria, Egypt. It serves as a tribute to the Library of Alexandria, once one of the largest libraries in the world, which was lost in antiquity. The idea to revive the old library emerged in 1974 when a committee from Alexandria University selected a site for the new library. Construction began in 1995, and after an investment of approximately US$220 million, the complex was officially opened on October 16, 2002. In 2009, the library received a donation of 500,000 books from the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF), making the Bibliotheca Alexandrina the sixth-largest Francophone library globally.

Kayetbai - The Qaitbay Citadel in Alexandria is regarded as one of the most significant defensive strongholds, not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. It played a crucial role in the fortification system of Alexandria in the 15th century.

Ancient Roman Amphitheater - The Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, sections of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths.

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - The Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa consist of tombs on three levels and include the Tri-cilium, where relatives would sit on stone benches to honor the deceased, a center with reliefs of bearded serpents, and 2nd-century AD statues of Sobek and Anubis dressed in Roman armor.

Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi - The Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque (Arabic: جامع أبو العباس المرسي) is a historic mosque in Alexandria. It is named after the 13th-century mystic Abu’l Abbas al-Mursi, who is interred there along with members of the Ashraf family.
