Rustic and fun tour of Egypt’s desert landscapes - This was an amazing chance to see the scenery of the white and black deserts! After a long drive from Cairo we arrived at Bahareya oasis, this is where the adventure really begins. We met our driver Mostafa and begun out scenic drive through the desert landscapes, stopping for photos along the way. We set up camp on the desert, our guide was extremely adept at getting the tents set up and cooking us dinner. I slept under the stars rather than in the tent provided (definitely bring a big coat if you want to do this). Of course, the tour is a little rustic - I believe this is part of the charm and this did not detract from my experience at all. However you should be aware that you will spend long time in the car (not all air conditioned) and there are no facilities whatsoever in the desert. As long as you are prepared for this then you will have the most amazing experience!

Fantastic - White Dessert & Black Dessert 2 – Cairo, Egypt Amazing dessert spot! The quality is excellent and everything tastes fresh and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet. Presentation is beautiful, portions are generous, and there’s a great variety to choose from. The staff are friendly and fast, and the place is clean and well organized. Definitely one of the best dessert places in Cairo. Highly recommended for anyone with a dessert lover If you want it shorter, more casual, or more fancy, tell me where you’re posting it and I’ll tweak it. Special thanks also to our tour guide Adriano thank you for a service ❤️

Must-have trip to the desert - It was lots of fun! The drivers were very hospitable, the food was very tasty, and the tents were cozy - we had sleep bags and a warm blanket, and a pretty thick sleeping mat. We were warm at night. The night sky at the camp is amazing. We saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Lots of stops along the way with interesting spots, plus the sandboarding. At the desert there's no signal, so no contact with the world, but that allows you to take a break from social media and such :)

Horny desert trip with great organizers - Authentic food, unique scenery, super organized. Ahmed and Muhammad are really great people. You just have to tell them what you need, so if you need water or want tea, or even smoke a water pipe in the desert, you just have to tell them, so don’t wait for it, just actively approach them. One should also know that it is a nature experience, toilets or something like that do not exist in the desert! We went with Ahmed and he gave us a bit more action and a bit more driving the sand dunes, Mega was fun. Thanks to the guys, for the tour, the organization and their open and very welcoming nature :) Can only be recommended to anyone! Thank you!

Camping in the wilderness is great - I was able to see a vast and fresh landscape that I couldn't believe was the same Earth. The food was also unique to Egypt and all of it was delicious.

The best desert excursion! - The vehicle arrived in Giza at 6:50 a.m., and then we went to pick up other passengers. And so began our 5-hour drive. The Black Desert is about 450 km from Giza. The vehicle wasn't very comfortable for such a long distance, but we made do. At 9:30 a.m., we stopped at a gas station to stretch our legs and have a coffee. The first breakfast wasn't included in the excursion. We resumed our journey at 10:00 a.m. towards the Black Desert. At 11:30 a.m., we switched vehicles to a 4x4. This vehicle was better suited to the desert. It was 11:45 a.m., and our driver, Mohamed, was now driving us into the Black Desert. We were there for barely 15 minutes, which seemed very short to me. We then arrived at El Heiz, a rather unusual place! In the middle of the dining room, a spring flowed, cooling the room. We were served about ten different traditional dishes, which we shared with the other visitors. We then set off again at 1:30 pm towards Crystal Mountain. We stayed at Crystal Mountain for about 30 minutes. The ground is covered in crystals; it's magnificent! We arrived at the White Desert at 3:00 pm, where we went sandboarding! Simply breathtaking! Afterwards, we took a 4x4 tour with several stops at strategic locations. Mohamed is a driver; he's used to driving in the dunes, so he gave us a real thrill as he skillfully climbed them. We arrived at the campsite at 4:00 pm. Three camping tents were set up, along with a larger tent in a traditional style. At first, we all wondered, "How are we going to manage?" They then added five more camping tents since there were ten of us. So we had eight tents in total, which was perfect! Friends are together, couples too, and solo travelers are in their own tents. I've been to deserts about ten times, but this is a real disconnect because there's no Wi-Fi, and that's just fine! There's no electricity either! It'll do us good. On the other hand, we'll have to hold it in because there are no toilets! Around 6 p.m., a fire is being prepared for dinner. Mohamed brings a grill with chicken, and we watch the fire and the cooking. Then we sit down to eat. The meal was simple and perfect! The darker the night became, the more the stars appeared. An unforgettable sight for those who had never seen anything like it. We were all tired, so we went to bed very early. The night was cold, especially since I'm claustrophobic, so I slept with the door open. But that didn't stop me from sleeping. The second time, we got up before sunrise to enjoy the spectacle. We had breakfast at 7:00 a.m., then set off again on our 4x4 excursion at 8:00 a.m. We entered the true white part of the desert. White mounds several meters high, some shaped like camels, others like mushrooms, and even one that resembled a camel! At 9:30 a.m., it was time to say goodbye to the white desert and return to Giza. We all left with wonderful memories! Of all the desert trips I've taken, this is the best so far!

Highly Recommended! A Perfect Trip with Great Support - I had an incredible time exploring Egypt, from the Pyramids in Cairo and Giza to the breathtaking temples in Luxor and Aswan. Every site was truly awe-inspiring. I especially want to thank Maged, who took great care of us throughout the trip. His hospitality made our journey even more special and memorable.

Egypt - I was dropped off from the hotel to the international airport. It was very good. When it came to Egypt, Cairo was chaotic, Luxor was a kind city, and Aswan was a freak. It was a lot of fun to talk to people about various temples. I'm glad Maced was so good to me.
