• The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - 8 AM: The tour guide will pick up guests from their requested location to begin an exciting journey through Cairo. The first stop is the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, home to 120,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts dating back 6,000 years, including the renowned Tutankhamun exhibit, featuring his golden mask and jewelry.

• Cairo Citadel - Known as the largest Islamic monument in the Middle East, the Saladin Citadel, or Cairo Citadel, dates back to the 11th century. It was constructed by the legendary warrior Saladin and his minister. The Citadel boasts 13 fortified towers and 7 mosques and served as the seat of government and residence of rulers for over 700 years. This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn about Egypt’s modern history. The tour will also include a visit to the Islamic marvel, the Mohammed Ali Mosque.

• Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Also known as the Alabaster Mosque, this Ottoman mosque is distinguished by its unique and towering minarets (86m high) and gold-plated domes. The interior and exterior walls are made of alabaster. The mosque was completed in 1848 AD.

• Coptic Cairo - After a lunch break, the tour continues with a visit to Coptic Cairo, one of the most religiously significant areas in Cairo. Coptic Cairo, part of Old Cairo, includes the Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George, Saints Sergius and Bacchus, and many other Coptic churches. According to Christian tradition, the Holy Family stayed at the site of the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church to avoid the Roman army. The guide will provide insights into Christianity in Egypt.

• Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary) - Around Fort Babylon, some of the oldest churches built by Egyptian Christians can be found. This area, a pilgrimage destination for people of various faiths worldwide, contains Roman fortification ruins. Over the Roman towers, the historic Hanging Church was constructed.

• Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus - The tour proceeds to the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, also known as the Cavern Church. It is traditionally believed to be built on the site where the Holy Family—Joseph, Mary, and the infant Jesus—rested at the end of their journey into Egypt. They may have lived here while Joseph worked at the fortress. This church is one of the oldest globally and holds significant historical importance, being the site where many Coptic Church patriarchs were elected.

• Synagogue Ben Ezra - The tour concludes with a visit to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, located in the Fustat area of Old Cairo. According to local legend, it is situated on the site where baby Moses was prayed for. This synagogue’s geniza, or storeroom, was discovered in the 19th century to contain a treasure trove of forgotten Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic secular and sacred manuscripts.
