Alexandria Trip
Alexandria - Journey to Alexandria. Explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the largest Roman Cemetery. Drive by Pompay’s Pillar and pause for a photo opportunity.
Next, visit the Library of Alexandria, the largest library in the world. The tour continues to the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Visit El Nabi Daniel Mosque, which many believe is linked to Alexander the Great’s tomb.
The tour will then take you to the stunning Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the largest and most beautiful mosque in the city. Continue to view the exterior of Quaitbay Castle.
The journey proceeds to the gardens of Montaza. Enjoy the scenic coastline and city views en route to Montaza Palace and gardens, approximately 25 km away, including the old harbor of Alexandria, where 7,000 monuments were discovered underwater.
On the return trip, stop at the famous Stanley Bridge before heading back to Cairo.
