Arrival in Cairo
Cairo - A travel representative from Luxor Private Tour will be at Cairo International Airport to welcome and transfer guests to their hotel in a company-maintained vehicle. Guests will be treated to a complimentary ‘Welcome’ drink at the hotel. The tour guide will assist with check-in procedures and provide the travel itinerary, ensuring clarity on daily pick-up times. Guests will spend the night in Cairo to relax and rest.
Giza Pyramids - Sphinx - Memphis and Sakkara
Pyramids of Giza - Guests will be picked up from their hotel to begin the Giza Pyramids Tour, starting with the Pyramids of Cheops, Chechen, and Mykerinus. The tour continues with a visit to the Great Sphinx, dating back to the time of the pharaohs, and the Valley Temple. The journey proceeds to the step pyramids of Zoser (Sakkara), the oldest major stone structure, followed by a meal at a local restaurant. In the evening, guests can enjoy a camel or horse ride and dine in the desert.
Day Tour to Alexandria
Alexandria - After breakfast at the hotel, guests will embark on an Alexandria city tour, beginning with the exploration of the Alexandria Library, a significant source of ancient knowledge. The library’s origins are debated, with some attributing its founding to Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC, while others credit Ptolemy I or II in the 3rd century BC. Regardless, it was the world’s greatest library for a long time. The new library was established on October 22, 2002, with UN support. The tour continues with a visit to the Roman Amphitheatre, discovered in the 1960s during a search for Alexander the Great’s tomb, and the only Roman amphitheater in Egypt, built in the 4th century AD.
Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and Elmoez Street, Old Islamic Cairo
Islamic Cairo - On day 4, guests will enjoy breakfast at their Cairo lodge. A representative will guide them to the ancient Egyptian Museum, home to the treasures of young ruler Tutankhamen. Guests will then be transferred to Islamic and Coptic Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle, where they will explore Cairo’s ancient bazaar, Khan El Khalil. The day concludes with a return to the hotel in Cairo.
Flight to Aswan
Temple of Philae - After an early breakfast at the hotel, guests will transfer to Cairo airport for a flight to Aswan. Luxor Private Tours representatives will be at Aswan International Airport to assist regardless of flight timings. Guests will be transferred to their Nile Cruise, where representatives will help with check-in procedures. Afterward, guests will enjoy lunch on the cruise before embarking on an Aswan boat trip to Agilika Island to see the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The evening includes a city tour around Aswan, with an overnight stay.
Abu Simbel Temples
Abu Simbel - The pick-up time is 4:30 am, with a return to the boat by 2:00 PM for lunch, followed by sailing to Kom Ombo city. Upon arrival, guests will visit the Kom Ombo temples. The Abu Simbel Temples are renowned for their grandeur and the success of ancient Egypt. Guests will have lunch on the Nile cruise as it sails to the Kom Ombo temple, where they will explore the Twin Temples of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek. The cruise will then proceed to Edfu city for dinner and an overnight stay.
Edfu Temple & Luxor (East Bank)
Temple of Horus - Guests will visit the Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, considered the best-preserved temple in Egypt. According to Egyptian beliefs, it is where Horus avenged his father Osiris’s death. After lunch on board, the cruise will head to Luxor, arriving at 3:00 PM. Guests will visit the Karnak and Luxor temples by night, returning to the boat for dinner and their last night on board.
Luxor (West Bank)
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, guests will begin a tour of the West Bank, visiting the Valley of the Kings to see the tombs of the new kingdom’s kings. The tour includes a visit to a handmade Alabaster house and the Hatshepsut temple, the only female temple in Egypt, built by the daughter of Thutmose I during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C). The tour also includes the Colossi of Memnon, the mortuary tomb of Amenhotep III. Guests will return to their hotel to enjoy the swimming pool, with an overnight stay.
Full-Day Abydos and Dendara Temple
Temple of Rameses II - Guests will be picked up from the hotel and leave Luxor behind, heading to Abydos, located 260 km northeast. In Abydos, they will visit the famous temple built by Set I in honor of Osiris, featuring scenes from the lives of Set I and Ramses II, as well as the Royal Lists with the names of 77 Egyptian kings. The temple also depicts the “Mysteries of Osiris,” a ceremony reenacting Osiris’s death and resurrection. After a picnic lunch, guests will proceed to Dendera to visit the Dendera Temple, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, with construction beginning during Nectanebo I’s reign. The tour includes a stop at the Temple of Isis before returning to Luxor.
Drive to Hurghada
Hurghada Grand Aquarium - After breakfast, guests will check out of the hotel and drive to Hurghada to explore the coral reefs and enjoy activities such as diving and fishing. An overnight stay in Hurghada is included.

Hurghada Marina - The next two days are free for guests to explore Hurghada or relax. They can book a trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkeling, visit the grand aquarium, and explore the Hurghada museum. Guests can also visit the abandoned city of ghosts in Safaga and explore Hurghada’s shopping malls, known for famous brands and sales offers. All transportation is provided in a VIP air-conditioned car.
Hurghada
Hurghada - The following two days are free for guests to explore Hurghada or relax. They can book a trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkeling, visit the grand aquarium, and explore the Hurghada museum. Guests can also visit the abandoned city of ghosts in Safaga and explore Hurghada’s shopping malls, known for famous brands and sales offers. All transportation is provided in a VIP air-conditioned car.
Departure
Hurghada - Depending on flight times, a driver will be ready to transport guests to Hurghada airport for their flight to Cairo, and then onward to their lovely home.
