Cairo - Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a full day tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum houses a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, the largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art worldwide. Over 250,000 authentic artifacts are displayed, including a section dedicated to the treasures, gold, and jewelry of Tutankhamen. Visit the Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Cheops is the largest pyramid ever constructed. Next, get an up-close view of the Sphinx, a massive funerary complex guarded by the legendary lion’s body with the face of King Chephren. Conclude with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaars, renowned for exquisite brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.

Luxor
Luxor - Early morning transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor airport, transfer to the Nile Cruise. Board before lunch. Enjoy lunch on board. Visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor. Explore the Luxor Temple, its courtyard, and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. Proceed by carriage or bus to Karnak, a series of temples built during different reigns. Begin at the Avenue of Sphinxes, visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake. Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner on board, and a belly dance show. Overnight on board in Luxor.
Luxor
Luxor - Breakfast on board followed by a tour of the West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Visit the tombs of various dynasties in the Valley of Kings and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return journey, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile. Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch on board. Sail to Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea and a disco party. Overnight on board in Edfu.
Aswan
Edfu - Breakfast on board. Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner on board, and a Galabya party. Overnight on board in Kom Ombo.
Aswan
Aswan - Breakfast on board and sail to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. Lunch on board. Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan.
Cairo
Cairo - Breakfast on board. Disembark and transfer to Aswan airport.
(Optional-not included) $120 per person: Depart for Abu Simbel to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel and return to Aswan. The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II (19th Dynasty), was saved from the Nile’s inundation and is among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples were carved from a sandstone rock cliff, with representations of the deities to which each was dedicated on its massive façade. Nearby, also saved, is the small Temple of the King’s wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor.
Alexandria
Alexandria - Breakfast at the hotel. Arrive in Cairo and transfer to Alexandria by air-conditioned car. Meet and assist by a local representative and transfer to the hotel. Check-in. Begin your trip by visiting the Roman Theater, which features marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, a section of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Then visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which include tombs on three levels and the Triclinium, where relatives feasted the dead. Inside are 2nd Century AD statues of Sobek and Anubis wearing Roman armor. Continue to Elsawary, Montaza Garden, Alexandria Library, and from the outside, visit Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas. Overnight stay in Alexandria.

(Optional) $70 per person: Start a full-day tour of Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the step pyramids of Sakkara, the first proper pyramids built for King Zoser, considered an evolution from the simple Mastaba to the pyramid’s known form. Follow with a visit to the Pyramids of Unas and Oser-Kaf, the Mastaba, and the Tomb of Mereruka, Ti, and Pta-Hotep, which feature carved and painted tombs. Then visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are located. Visit the old part of Cairo, as Egypt was one of the first countries to embrace Christianity. Visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the Old Jewish Synagogue Ben Ezra Synagogue.
