Cairo International Airport (IATA: CAI) is situated northeast of the city, approximately 15 km from the business district. The airport features three terminals, with the third and largest opening on April 27, 2009.

Terminal 2 was closed in April 2010 for extensive renovations to its structure and facilities.

In 2010, a third parallel runway was introduced, replacing the previous crossing runway. Runway 05L/23R measures 3,300 meters, 05C/23C is 4,000 meters long, and the new runway, designated 05R/23L, is approximately 4,000 meters. Additionally, a new cargo terminal is currently under construction.

Transfers from Cairo airport to downtown Cairo, Heliopolis, or the Giza area are readily available and provided by us. Simply inform us of your destination.
